Alis Indian Cuisine in North Somerset

Have ordered from here many times, it's usually really very very good, if go as far as to say one of the best Indian takeaways around.Last night you really dropped the ball...The pickle tray is extortionate for what you actually get. £2.90 for 4 tiny pots. Not worth £1.50 in my opinion.The curries are usually excellent, Last nights was way off the mark.The Dansak was way too hot even though I asked for it to be cooked to a medium heat.We also ordered a lamb Kashmiri which should have had banana in it, you gave us lamb Malyan which had pineapple in it. That wouldnt be a huge problem except that the person it was for is allergic to pineapple so was unable to eat it.Over all very very disappointed.Please listen to your customers requests they make them for a reason not just to be awkward!

Amazing food .. delivered on time . Potions could be more generous, but I like to save some for breakfast . Onion bahjees were the best .. will be ordering again very soon.

We often order from this indian takeaway, but tonight we waited over an hour for delivery and when I opened it ,it was stone cold , driver had already gone, don't really expect to pay good money for cold food.

I was very disappointed with our takeaway. Starter of prawn puree was nice but my husband's meat ceylon smelled of coconut but tasty very salty. Both our pilau rice were wet and a very strange consistency. My meat dansak very disappointing. Definitely wouldn't use again. Worse I've had in a long time. Usually use curry centre in staple hill or mughal palace barrs court. Fancied a change but never again. We left most of it.

Lovely flavour however lacking in content Chicken korma had only 4 small pieces of chicken, rice dishes only half filled and all the dishes where very sauce heavy. Disappointed and will not be returning.

Just had our third takeaway from here and all three have been really good. The food is nice and spicy, good value and not too greasy. Recommended.

I've always really enjoyed the food here, although the business is in a very unlikely looking location in an industrial unit! Prices are good, food tasty and we've had the occasional freebie too.

Very poor experience all round, food was late and yet cold, naan bread was burnt on one side yet uncooked on the other side, partner and i ordered different main courses yet two of the same were given to us, the Chicken starter had a dead spider in the salad. Dirty establishment and overpriced for the bland food that was offered... Would not recommend
