Walk-in on father day, really great greeting and service.A table of 3 didn't show so they offer us their table . Excellent food, the best Sunday Roast I had in Weston so far .

Really good pub, great decor, lovely food at reasonable price.I asked for ham and egg but no chips,A few minutes later, the barmaid came over to me and said, "the chef would like know if he can make you a salad in place of the chips".So a really nice place to eat or drink and considerate service. Will be a customer for a long time.

Had our grandsons 18th party meal here. Wasn't impressed with choice of menu. Duck meal very tough. Not worth the price. Won't be going again. 11 of us but seating was bad. 5 had to move to let 1 out.

The food is awesome and plentyful. I had no fault with the food or drinks. My reason for 3 stars is when we arrived. There was one guy behind the bar who was seeing guests to their tables, taking orders and assisting. This was causing extended waiting times for other guests arriving around the same time. The guy was trying his best but he clearly had too much on. My next issue was the table. We were just 2 with a dog and we were placed on a table for 6 which was crammed between a large sofa and a pillar. The position of the table made it barely usable even for just 2 of us. We were charged £1 more for the food we ordered so gues they had a price raise and menus not updated or they snook a tip in the bill without asking. The guy behind the bar doing his best deserved a tip as he was doing a good job but I strongly recommend the manager seeks more staff

We have been going to The Duke of Oxford for a few years now and have always had great service. The Sunday lunch is excellent. Sadly on this occasion we had to wait a very long time for our meals. I think our order got lost. The staff did apologise and gave us a round of free drinks which we appreciated. It was disheartening to see people who arrived quite some time after us get their roast dinners first. Hopefully this is just a one off.

Lovely pub . Looks very different from outside. When you enter from one street you hit the coffee zhop style corner with casual sofas to sit and have a coffee. The rest of the pub is quirky furniture plus upstairs seating. We had valentine dinner. Very nice food . Friendly staff and doggy friendly. They love dogs 🐕 ❤ recommend a visit .

Fantastic place. Dropped in for a bite to eat as was dog friendly and just can’t fault it. Awesome staff, amazing food, great beer and genuinely 100% dog friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed being there and a big thanks to whoever manages this place for getting it so right. A definite 5 stars.
