Average.Visited for Afternoon Tea. The food was average, nothing special considering Marco Pierre White's name is above the door.The service was disappointing. Arrived at the register & the staff member continued doing what they were doing for 3 minutes before even acknowledging I was there.We were seated & left for 10 minutes before being offered drinks.Once we were served we were left to 'fend for ourselves,' weren't asked if we needed anything extra.Once finished we had to ask for the bill as I think they forgot we were there.

Lovely afternoon tea. The scones were perfect, other cakes and sandwiches all excellent. Most staff were friendly and nice surroundings. We weren't given a choice of teas which I thought we should have been, but other than that it was all good and we enjoyed it.

Nice enough restaurant, the decor is lovely. Not sure about the menu. Wasn't overly impressed - appreciate it's a steakhouse but a few exciting vegan and vegetarian options would be nice. I ended up choosing macaroni cheese which was ok, but I can make a nicer one myself at home and not exactly an option I would choose in a high class restaurant. Menu needs a rethink.

Very disappointed! We love Marco Pierre White hotels.This is just a gym restaurant. The atmosphere and setting doesn't match the name and reputation.We found it a very strange Italian afternoon tea. Even with a Wowcher voucher it was not good value.

Great food, fantastic service and lovely atmosphere, will definitely dine here again.

Overall was very happy with the food and customer service was very good. Only slight snag was the 10% service charge and more choice on the beers, would have been nice to have Amstel or pernoi beer with my steak

Was so looking forward to my first visit here as I'm a fan of Marco Pierre White.Very, very disappointed. Food and service of an extremely poor standard, would NOT recommend, and will probably never visit again.I am more than happy to pay more for high quality but unfortunately did not receive it, and, for the first time ever, considered not paying my bill.Will be conducting some research and registering my concerns with The Man himself, as I feel sure he would not wish his name associated with such poor quality.

My partner and I tried this restaurant out despite the appalling reviews online (we like to make our own judgement and write our own grounded and honest reviews).Marco Pierre White - an absolute no go! I would not recommend it to anyone.Famous for its steaks but shamelessly let down by people that don’t know how to cook a steak. Both ordered our steaks Medium and they both arrived very well done.We tried the starters, mains, desserts, cocktails and wines. The only things that tasted nice were the drinks and desserts. They were delightful. Service in the restaurant was very very disappointing, staff are rude, irritable. Some customer service training is definitely needed.Breakfast was shockingly bad, ignored by staff, cold food and missing items off the plate. Very disappointing and such a basic thing to get right.The only thing that was nice was the little conservatory/terrace to the restaurant for seating. The roof opens & closes.For the price, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant nor would I go back.

Lovely meal with friends. Staff very attentive. Fantastic view of our village.

It wouldn’t be fair of me to comment on the food as we dined care of a groupon voucher, so we weren’t getting the full experience. The restaurant was smartly modern, large and airy, and the waitress at our table was pleasant, efficient and smiley. You’ll pay London prices for a steak here (we googled the menu) so it’s not the cheapest place to eat,
