Bank Holiday Friday had a family day out to weston super mare.Great day went to this place as kids wanted chips and sausage in bucket red bucket, Mrs cone of chips 🍟 me Fish 🐟 & Chips 🍟.Queue outside prices good so 30minute wait got my food.WELL I WISH I HADN'T3 days of not being able to get out of bed except to got to the toilet all night from 10.30pmish until, well it's Tuesday after bank holiday Monday now still on loo 🚻 but safe to eat.Before making this review I looked up whether this was a bug as some mite suggest but my symptoms suggested food poisoning and that's all I'd eaten all day, apart from fruit, nobody else had fish so conclusion is......I'm not saying don't eat from here I'm solely giving my review as to my experience and disappointment at losing a bank holiday Weekend £600 worth of work, I'm self employed and given others the benefit of my experience and maybe finding others whom suffered the same so that puffins can improve their hygiene or some form of change or training.Thankyou for reading and god bless all.UPDATED : Well il await your legal teams contact. Worst plaice ive ever had was really thin and like a frisby solid no fish just bread crums never buying there again

Situated in a great position just down from the Grand Pier my family of five visited Puffins for fish and chips. We had a lovely table inside. The fish and chips were amazing. The batter on the fish is the best I have ever tasted. I don't normally eat the batter but it was so good I ate it all. The chips were also so tasty. The staff in Puffins are amazing and when we visit Weston again we will definately be calling for another fish and chip lunch. Thank you Puffins.

What a burger, maybe the best burger that i have ever had! Just look at the photo's....... Need i say more.

Don't bother. The fish & chips are disgusting, and they charge you £13 for two lots.If you like greasy food you will be fine. A letfor a seaside fish & chip shop!After posting the above review you get a response from the owner's calling you a keyboard warrior and to jog on!Truth hurts. Great customer service !

I have never been a fan of fish so it may seem strange to leave a 5 star review for a fish and chip shop. But would you know it, Puffins of Weston-super-Mare happens to make THE best fast food burgers I have ever tasted in my entire 45 years!! Absolute genius in the burger department! Fresh, juicy and an absolute delight. From this day forth I will tell the legendary tale of the small chip shop and the big burgers in Weston-super-Mare. Ps family says fish was good too 😉

The restaurant was takeaway only when we visited for Covid reasons. It was a very tasty mini fish (cod) and chips, lovely pickled egg and mushy peas. I also ordered a normal size fish and chips for my other half and a large pot of mayo and had change out of £15, which was really well priced I thought for where it is. It’s right on the sea front outside the Grand Pier so it’s in the ideal location for a day trip to Weston. There was a long queue at lunchtime when we visited which is great for them, glad to see that they are doing well, just be prepared for that if you’re visiting. It’s worth the wait though, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. They also get a big tick from me for being dog friendly.

I had the cod and chips, with mushy peas and two slices of bread (chip butty just has to be done!!)... my friend had a meat pie which he thoroughly enjoyed. As you can see from the photo the portions are generous ... and waitresses service was good too. A most enjoyable meal.

Ordered 4 meals today for myself, wife and kids. Chips were cooked fresh and we're lovely. The battered cod was superb and my kids smashed the chips in no time at all. Friendly service inside and felt COVID safe in there waiting too. Credit to WSM.

Only had chips but very tasty and good value (£1 for a cone). Friendly staff and really quickly served, food was ready instantly. Not a lot of space to eat inside, but eating on the pier is nicer in my opinion anyway.
