Awesome fish and chips cannot wait to come again!! I ordered a battered fish and chips and when I tell you the fish was perfect it tasted so nice! a perfect local fish and chips for me the staff were very friendly cannot wait to come again!!!

Great pit stop on the way home good portion size and proper fresh fish and chips as they should be done. We will definitely be coming back when heading this way again.

Chips were ok, curry sauce was nice but burger (beadle burger) was really dry and plain tasting. Staff were friendly

Visited today after many times - place ran by young teenagers -ordered a child fish and chips and adult sausage and chips and instead got the opposite . No salt and vinegar added after requested …poor service and tasteless. Won’t return sadly .

Awful… used to be good quality food, now it’s greasy and tasteless… waited ages, no salt and vinegar on the chips after I asked twice for plenty.. it’s like the local youth club.. safe to say il probably be on the toilet all night 🤙🏻

Good food. Good staff and the most comfortable sofas you'll ever sit in while you wait for your food. What more could you want.

Gone downhill, used to be a great Chip Shop and our "go to" when in the area. went yesterday and wished we never. Pies were hard on the top and soggy pastry underneath, with hardly any filling, felt like eating dough. Sausage was like eating a block of oil, being very greasy and hardly any chips at all. If this would of been our first ever visit to Murphy's we wouldn't be going back again, but definitely wont be going out of our way or in a rush to go back in the future.

Always great fish and chips here! Good portion sizes, and relatively prompt service. Pricing seems to be creeping up a tad, however, as almost £15 for a large Fish, Chips and Curry Sauce seems a bit steep.
