Ocean's Cafe in North Somerset

Ate there twice first time was better than the second. A decent breakfast for 7 quid. Very small place though

Parked there and walked around the marina,came back to Oceans for teas and coffees and a good plate of chips between the 4 of us,this place is a little hidden gem,very friendly staff,will definitely return next time we come to Portishead.

Normally excellent but on this occasion it was busy and the staff seemed unable to cope. I think our breakfasts were given to the wrong people, who failed to make the staff aware. We were then left waiting, offered a plate of something we hadn't ordered and finally got our breakfasts, minus tomatoes and my toast. All put right eventually but we chose to go elsewhere for our second coffee.

We popped in for lunch today, as we had stopped at Portishead to break up our journey home. I am so glad that we chose here, as this cafe serves up warm hearty food combined with warm and welcoming service. If we are ever in the area again we will certainly be back.
