Pappadoms in North Somerset

Had special balti and we had chicken tikka baltiBoth very salty!Both dishes so similar couldn’t tell difference!3 sauces came with pompodoms were very watery, Nan bread was really dry like cardboard!,Not the best I must say , reluctant to order from you again I’m afraid!

Food is terrible and made us all violently ill. Owner is obnoxious, arrogant and rude. Front of house staff are a bunch of stroppy teenagers. Delivery service terrible with very long wait times.To everyone who is disappointed that they couldn't order via some app, or didn't order because of some sly surcharge, you got off lightly.Go try one of the other Indian restaurants in the town. The new viceroy is great.1. The owner isn't a nasty piece of work (google the owner of pappadoms and read responses to reviews online - it's quite telling).2. The food also tastes great and won't make you sick.About time for pappadoms to cease trading

Another great meal, generous portions, been using this place 20yrs+ never had a bad meal.

Food is OK but nothing special, however they have now introduced a 50p charge just to order their food, when I questioned this the arrogant owner said its due to the credit card machine charges, I pointed out to him that actually adding on a charge is illegal, however I was paying by cash ! So I refused to pay and went elsewhere

When you have found a good curry house, you stick with it.We got lucky when we moved ot the area and found Popadoms after trying a few other places.We are regular customers of Popadoms (WSM) due to the quality of food being excellent on every occasion.No delays on food, consistantly excellent quality (and they even text ou a thank you afterwards).Highly recommended

In two minds about reviewing this place as I don’t want to share, what is quite possibly the best Indian food we have ever had.We have moved to the area, when friends and family stay we order from here rather than go out as the food or better than in any restaurant we have been to. Our guests always say the same.The quality of the food is amazing and great portion sizes. The lamb chops are divine!The owner does loads for local charity.
