Pizza Picante Portishead in North Somerset

Best fish and chips in Portishead imho. However portion sizes have reduced. Still great food as a trwat

Thankyou so very much Pizza Picante for our gorgeous fish and chips this evening. We did not order until later, the food was piping hot the cod and chips absolutely gorgeous. The pizzas outstanding we just could not fault it the fish was so fresh.Thank you all so very much we rely appreciate it. 😋😋😋😋😋

We were politely talking to them over the phone and they were shouting at us saying they were going to ring the police. We ordered two pizzas and on one of the pizzas had prawns on it when someone in the house had a fish allergy and was about to eat it. Then they replaced this prawn pizza with yet another wrong pizza in which then was wrong again and with bbq base which they said they couldn't supply before. Definitely not worth £40 for 2 pizzas and we called them in total 40 times of which they didn't answer. They said all they cared about is the business and not the customers.

We've eaten a lot more takeaways over Lockdown than we did before, and this has become our regular. They make great Pizzas at a fair price, as well as the usual British takeaway stuff and others. Their local competition is a bit of a rip-off to be honest, which pushed us to go to Picante in the first place, and there's no reason now to go elsewhere.

Really disappointed. They supplied us with a pizza with prawns on when not asked for as we have a fish allergy within the household! My son was about to take a bite until we quickly stopped him! This could of resulted in a hospital admission or worse! When we phoned to explain the situation we were meet with the "not bothered" attitude!Avoid at all costs before something becomes fatal!

My Partner and I both ordered fish and chips from here this evening. The food is cooked to order so waited a short while until it was ready. Definately worth the wait, the food was cooked perfectly and was lovely and hot. If passing through Portishead again we will definately visit x

Yum. Forget dominoes, pizza Hut et Al this is proper pizza! Thin Base, lots of topping and generous size. They also do fish and chips, which are soooo tasty. They don't deliver to nailsea for some reason, but they are easy to find, park and get your self! They do deliver to Portishead, Clevedon and around.
