Sea Salt in North Somerset

Enjoyed our fish and chips from here very polite seen bad reviews so bit reluctant but have to say absolutely enjoyed

Absolutely disgusting. Not even worth 1 star. Spent over £40 in there for our family to go hungry as completely inedible. Will never return and have told everyone I've spoken with not to go there. Wish I had gone back for my money back. Should be closed down or taken over by someone who can actually cook!! Don't waste your money here go elsewhere.

Waited in a queue for 40 minutes for what I thought would freshly cooked fish and chips after that length of time. What I got was pre cooked chips which were dry, dehydrated and overcooked. The batter on the fish was a soggy,thick mess. The fish was grey, slimey with skin still on. Into the bin it went. Will never go to this chippy again. It needs some who can actually cook. I will never visit Seasalt or unity farm again. Didn't even want to give 1 star

Not nice at batter inedible! Chips dry and brown suggest oil needs changing. Will never use the place again

Was disappointed the chips were from the bottom of the traybznd it was like eating crisps.The fish was lovely but unfortunately it was very greasy. Noy visiting this shop again.

Very disappointed with the pizza at Sea Salt. Expected better for £14! for what tasted like a frozen pizza from Iceland.We go to unity 3-4 times a year normally and as most of the restaurants were closed due to covid/staff shortage, which we were not informed of, the only place to get food from was this place or the Chinese. Absolute rip off for what you get.

Absolutely disgusted with the treatment I received from a member of staff tonight called Sherice. I was told I couldn't enter the shop as I wasn't wearing a mask and when I said I was exempt I was told I still couldn't enter and I had to remain outside like a naughty school child. People in the cue who were wearing mask were allowed to enter before and after me. This is a clear example of discrimination against the equality act 2010 and she should be sack immediately. No way should I have to disclose or label myself disabled unless I'm talking to my doctor and I shouldn't be treated any differently from any because of my disabilities!!!!

Don't waste your money at this chip shop...expensive. . scrappy chips..left more than we ate...for over £12 (fish and chips and kids meal) not worth it ...have a drive to a decent chip shop ...

I’m afraid this facility is below average. Over cooked fish and chips . The only thing I could possibly recommend are the chicken nuggets..poor food at a high price

Returned to HRU Brean for hols in August. My grandson insisted we buy chips to see if things had improved. The answer was yes. The chips were very good indeed. Bought chips a couple of nights and they were spot on. Well done Sea Salt for the vast improvement.Just bought chips for the family midday 16/04/2019 and in my opinion they were the worst chips I have ever been sold ... totally disgusting. No stars ( had to put one star to post). The owners need to come to South Wales to learn how to provide good healthy chips and not provide substandard food at inflated prices. I wonder how Unity / local food standard bodies allow this to go on.
