Somerset Restaurant - Walton Park Hotel in North Somerset

Would be really good IF the rooms had new or retro fitted windows. The cold sea breeze howls through the sash windows and make room freezing. We used all the towels to try and block the gaps. Great views, nice spacious room, good shower, friendly enough staff. good breakfast. But sort them windows. price not good when you are freezing. and no the radiators don't win over that wind.

I booked through Booking.comHonestly, this has been one of the worst hotel booking experiences I’ve ever had.The rooms are grossly misrepresented on all booking sites. I feel like I’m Harry Potter living under the Dudley’s staircase.1. No water provided. Just 2 disposable plastic cups like we’re living in a college dormitory.2. Some rooms may have a good view but it doesn’t matter since the windows are basically a porthole and the room has absolutely no space. It’s not fit for a hobbit.3. The bedside laps don’t work and they are the only lights in the room apart from 1 bulb on the ceiling.4. there’s no information on the numbers to dial for reception/housekeeping.5. Also, if you leave the room door open for more than 10 seconds it starts beeping like crazy! Every time one of our neighbours opened there door the ruckus was horrible. You can hear the damned door alarm across the entire corridor. Don’t really get the purpose of it.I spoke to a few other guests. All of them are appalled at the service and quality. Last time I ever book at a Best Western. Biggest waste of money of my life.

Nice and clean if a bit old old fashioned hotel. The bar was a bit lacking, felt more like sitting in a school hall than a hotel lounge/bar. Nice staff and good breakfast

Recently got married at this hotel.From start to finish I couldn’t fault it! It was the best day of my life, and all the staff had made it amazing and went the extra mile. I’d like to say a special thank you to cat who answered all our queries super quick and made it a really stress free experience.From the early access to the bridal suite until check out post breakfast the next day every single detail was well thought out and it made the day truly specialThe food was really tasty, drinks were cheap and the venue/rooms were very clean.I am so glad we chose Walton park to get married and would recommend others do the same :)5 stars isn’t enough!Holly and Ben xxx

Really nice hotel. Good location. But wi fi poor in room.Breakfast was really good and rooms so tidy I had a great sleep.Free carpark . And 15 min walk to bars and restraunts.

Some booking confusion which was ably resolved by Marie, who was very helpful. As a result we were upgraded to a comfortable sea view room. A good stay - many thanks.

Good prices. Good rooms. Great location always pick the sea view if you can. Great parking. 10 minute drive to Portishead for the type that like to explore the area.

Stayed here for a wedding taking place at the venue. Room was small and quite dated; could hear people walking up and down the corridor due to the thin walls and bouncy wooden floors. Setting of the hotel is nice, and buffet breakfast was very good quality however.

Impressive location and well maintained (sometimes find grand hotels can be a bit shabby but not this one from what I saw). Had a large, sea view room, good decor and fittings. Helpful attentive staff. Bar had a good range of beers, menu also had a reasonable selection and food was good. Wifi a bit sketchy but otherwise no problems.

A wonderful hotel. So clean everywhere. The staff are really friendly and hardworking. The hotel is located overlooking the channel with views of Wales. The gardens so will kept. The food is amazing and with every penny. A perfect getaway ☺️
