Spicy Aroma in North Somerset

1st visit tonight as me and my partner were driving past the building is stunning very modern , we sat down and had a drink whilst we were deciding food , ordered food for take away I can honestly say this is the best Indian food I have had in a very long time chicken was beautiful with plenty of flavour along with other food we ordered, definitely will be returning soon keep up the good work guys outstanding

Absolutely shocking! This was our Nan bread that got delivered. We also ordered Onion Bhaji's which arrived without the salad! Over an hour late and 3 phone calls later, the food was shocking, and still no sorry or acknowledgement. Will never order again from Spicy Aroma, portishead! Will also not recommend. 😕

Very disappointed with my visit last night.They over looked the customers sitting for food . Took more interest serving the takeaway meals .Waited an hour and a half for main course, had no apologises when ask how much longer do we have to wait.When it finally arrived, plates were cold and the food was Luke warm.Every customer in that restaurant was not happy with the service, table next to us waited over 2 hours for their main.Will not be visiting again .

Went here last week the food is amazing and fresh definitely be returning Plus if you cant eat all the set they will bag it up for you to Takeaway with no extra cost The chefs are top notch

Terrible service. Food only warm. To much concentration on takeaways and no enough on sitting customers. Never going back.

Made a last minute phone call tonight and booked a table for 7.00 pm which they accommodated. Service was excellent. The food was very tasty and warm. Look forward to another visit very soon! The best Indian restaurant in Portishead!

I didn’t go to the restaurant but I did order through just eat and it was Absolutely amazing!! Coming from Birmingham where Indian restaurants are very well known! Spicey aroma is the best Indian takeaway we’ve had!! The chicken tikka was very well cooked and tasty the chicken madras was absolutely amazing! And the mushroom rice was fantastic the shish kebabs were the best I’ve ever had!! Delivery was so fast! About 25 minutes earlier than I was told! And food was very hot!! Overall it was absolutely fantastic and very tasty will definitely be ordering again!!! Also will definitely have a meal in the restaurant!

I booked a table for 1PM on Sunday and got the email confirmation that all was booked. Unbeknown to me they usually don't open until 5:30PM so the restaurant was opened for us which was a very nice touch.The food was out of this world, long time ago I had such a nice Indian meal, full of flavours and the portions were very generous, fortunately they do doggy bags. The staff was helpful and friendly. All in all a very good eating out experience.

This was our first visit to eat in since the renovations were completed. The place is completely different, very modern and stylish. The menu and wine list have been updated.Ali, the owner was cooking and it was a simply fantastic meal, with a dish made less spicy for my wife. It was a meal to compete with anything else available in Portishead.We were made to feel very welcome and the service was absolutely spot on.

Really good food and service, shame we were the only people in there, will be back
