The Albion in North Somerset

went with my family, we had lily bringing our food over she was very polite and served with a smile. i had the southern fried chicken burger and it was amazing. the childrens menu had a lot of variety for my little sibling. lily made sure our food was ok and the man at the bar was very polite and funny. overall great family pub with friendly and welcoming staff

I've been bringing my team to this pub for almost a year. It's like a 2nd office for us. The service is great, Billy was friendly and so are the rest of their team. I would recommend the Albion. It's a good all round pub, clean, modern, great location, good atmosphere.

Absolutely awful place. Visited from Plymouth with my best friend and his family. Table was book on 11th for 7pm. We bought a round of drinks and sat at our table and chose our food. We went to place our order and were told no food until 8.30. At no point we're we told this when purchasing out drinks. Disgusting place. Avoid at all costs

Absolutely lovely Sunday Roast when another pub let us down. Quiet, which surprised us, although we were early and it got a lot busier as the lunchtime went on. Good service and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be going again.

Food was lovely. Service was amazing. Staff are so polite. Had lily as are waitress she was so helpful with anything we needed. Lovely place to go.

Food and drink quality has really gone downhill in the last year or so.When we first came about 18 months ago the Sunday roast was brilliant. Fresh veg, proper roast potatoes and even dessert thrown in. The place was heaving and rightly so.Came back today to find the place empty. Ordered two roasts and they were possibly the sadest ones we've ever eaten.Firstly the price has remained the same (or gone up slightly, im not sure), but dessert is no longer included. Fair enough, I can understand the need to cut costs and so assumed the roast would be just as good as before. I was wrong.Beef (advertised as cooked pink) was fatty and cremated. Roast potatoes were almost certainly the type that come from a bag of frozen ones, veg was just overcooked peas and carrots, the Yorkshire was a just a soggy little thing that looked and tasted like it had been microwaved, and the stuffing was just a burnt disc about 3cm wide.What happened? We used to rave about the Sunday roasts this place did but it was comparable to the microwavable roasts for one you can get from the supermarket.It's not just the roasts either, the last few meals we've had have gradually gone down in quality.To make matters worse the last few times I've ordered a beer here it's always been flat.Staff are generally nice but sadly we won't be returning any time soon. Its a shame because it's our local.

Friendly staff , reasonably priced , great atmosphere. Good choice of food and drinks.I held my daughters birthday party here in the function room and the staff were really attentive. Good pub 👍

I have always enjoyed going to the Albion which has a nice atmosphere where the staff are friendly and helpful. They serve an excellent range of meals at fair prices.Meals are always well cooked and with their pub classic menu, where two meals ordered off this menu, only costs £11.49

shame because its a lovely pub, and a great location for me but we will not be going in here again whilst the staff they currently have are still running the show, never met so many miserable people, no manners at all, just don't seem to care about any customers unless you are sitting with the manager by the bar,you are simply made to feel like you are NOT WELCOME,100% They would much prefer you not being there,food missing from your mealmeals missing from the orderwith no explanation or apologieswhen the food comes it gets slammed on your table by the miserable staff again with no explanationThis is not the first time i have expressed my annoyance, and i don't want a free meal so don't ask me.I wonder how many more local people have decided to not visit this pub anymore

Very very disappointed. The service was very slow. Waitress served us with no personality, no smile. Food was dreadful. I had gammon and chips. The gammon was black on the outside and almost raw in the middle. Fried egg was flat with no yolk, chips were overcooked and cold and the peas were like bullets. My daughter had hunters chicken and the chicken was dry and the same as my chips.We did ask for a refund which they did but missed off the onion rings and we had to ask for that too.Used to do lovely food but definitely won't be going back.
