The Captains Cabin in North Somerset

Dog friendly pub, with great service and friendly atmosphere. We were a little unsure when we arrived with the main entrance not being accessible. However, don't be put off! It is traditional pub food done well. We eat out a lot and this was perfect for a lunch time bite with the family. Generous portions and we thoroughly enjoyed the medium rare beef & horseradish and homemade fish finger sandwiches! We would definitely return!

Lovely dog friendly pub, two real ales on, a very good menu, the food was really nice, friendly staff, it's bigger that it looks from outside, a really nice atmosphere, would definitely recommend

Found the Captains Cabin by accident. So happy we did, the views and found of the sea were lovely and the steak sandwich with had was fabulus. Lovely place, excellent and friendly service. Highly recommended!

Lovely local venue to suit any occasion, couples, families and groups, casual and formal dining, welcoming and friendly staff, great weekend music for on the terrace vibes with a terrace bar. Food outstanding every time, fresh and great quality, such good value and the views from the terrace are fantastic

Great bar, lovely sun terrace. More local ciders and ales would be good. Roast at the weekend was epic, they did a vegetarian version on request which was appreciated. Nice staff

Lovely little pub. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good layout for social distancing.Really lovely views if you sit outside on the balcony. Plenty of seating available inside as well. There is a bar outside if you don't want to walk all the way inside to get a drink.Food menu is limited, but good quality.

Fish and triple cooked chips with mushy peas sounds yummy, right!Yes! And that’s the reason why I choose this meal!I was looking for my triple cooked chips.And while fish and peas and salad were good chips were awful! Huge letdown 👎🏻Should not be even served.My friend ordered the same and shared my opinion. We have left most of the chips.I am disappointed ☹️

Popped with my sister as she had hear good reviews.Having dietary requirements. Andrew the chef was helpful and no problem with food for me.Both pub and restaurant are lovely and pleasant. Pub has a log fire making it nice and cosy. With a pool table also dog friendlyLovely views of coast from restaurant with a sun terraceI'll be back in the summer when next visit.
