Lovely little pub and a very friendly landlord

·

Trditional old pub, excellent food and beer. You will need a healthy appetite to polish off a main course. Best found if you approach from the Winford side

Beautiful atmosphere, warm people, nice food and lovely dogs. Loved our dinner there.

·

Very good knowledge of gluten and dairy free menu items. Good pleasant service, and we left feeling full!

I like the look of this pub and the staff were all smiley and pleasant. However, one of the beers on tap tasted funny and had to be replaced by a different brand and the Rogan Josh on the menu was entirely unpleasant tasting. It simply tasted of strong chilli and cinnamon, nothing like a Rogan Josh should. The other meals we had were OK, but nothing special. I doubt we'll be back when we're in the area.

Can’t fault the place. Lovely local pub, great food, very friendly staff. Full of character.

We stumbled upon this lovely hidden gem by chance - what a lovely surprise! The food was wonderful, and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The back garden has a magical feel. Make sure you try banana creme brule!

A great find! Lovely pub garden, friendly staff and a generous Sunday roast, which I've had 3 times now. Much better than other pub roasts in the area, lots of extras included and keenly priced. I've not yet had the dessert but am very tempted by the gin & tonic cheesecake. I'm surprised this gem of a pub hasn't yet been discovered by the crowds.

Happy accident to discover this jewel due to Sat-nav having an off day.Beautiful, relaxed, friendly. Rosie the miniature pony visitor added bonus.Lovely locals recommended the food too. Thanks to regulars Craig and his friends I found my way around accident back to M5 for Cornwall.I'll be back...

Local pub, pleasantly busy all afternoon on our visit. Hot food at set hours but rolls and pub snacks from the bar. Real ale as well as more mundane drinks, both alcoholic and soft. Free wifi. Dogs welcome. Nice garden.
