The Nelson Arms in North Somerset

Was passing so popped in for carvery.Plenty of tables in conservatory.Very nice. Would be even better if they had cauliflower cheese and you could put your own veg on your plate.Probably to stop fatties like me making a giant pyramid on my plate!Friendly staff and best to book.

Best Carvery I’ve had in a long time Worth the Banwell traffic lamb cooked to perfection and roast potatoes how they meant to be staff really friendly and good service pudding was alright too Will be definitely coming again

Has to be one of the best carvery lunches I've ever had.A selection of four different meats and a large choice of vegetables.If you have room there's also a wide selection of hot and cold desserts.We didn't book but were fortunate to only have to wait 15 minutes to be seated.All the staff were very helpful and the lady front of house went above and beyond to help us

Can't go wrong here. Their carvery is renowned for being great value. The staff are always friendly and attentive.

Sunday carvery was very nice, fresh and nice choice of meat. Staff friendly and helpful. Very busy, would book if wanting to go.

Nice oldy worldy pub, went for the Sunday roast freat food would prefer to put my own portions on. Pretty well organised for a busy pub. Would recommend booking to confirm. Bit disappointed on my visit as no draught ales. Overall 👍👍

We have been going to the Nelson for years. They have seen our Granddaughter grow up from birth. She booked a table herself for her, her parents and both sets of Grandparents for her 8th birthday. She calls it Ollies. When we arrived last night they greeted her with a gift and card from all the Nelson staff. Little did they know that the day before we had her Great Grandads funeral so it was extra special. Ĺovely place, lovely people and the best carvery around. Thankyou to you all. Xx

Nice old fashioned place, carvery was okay but not the best veg on offer. Quite expensive for what is was.
