Been trying to book here for a while. You can only book by phone as there’s no website.I recommend booking a few days in advance.Carvery was cooked to perfection and generous meat portions. Good selection of veg.Local ciders on tap. Nicely decorated. Staff were friendly and polite we will definitely be coming again.

Nice village pub serving food, although I didn't eat on this occasion. Good ales well kept. Bar staff chatty and pleasant. Pub for locals and visitors.plenty of parking to the rest if you have a nominated driver.

Drove past The Old Inn on our first visit to the area & thought it looked nice. Went back for a meal & weren't disappointed, it was as nice on the inside as it was on the outside with a vast & varied menu. All our meals were excellent with good quality ingredients (the pies were some of the best we'd tasted). It had a friendly atmosphere & felt like it was very much a part of the local community. Can't wait to go back again!

Great proper pub, staff are brilliant and food is excellent. Definitely recommend the ribs!

Amazing food as per normal!! Great service and staff. Could do with a side of veg to go with the surf and turf as plate looked a little empty. Other than that it was perfect!

This was our first visit today and we were absolutely delighted with the food and service we received. We were having our first meal out since the lockdown was lifted and we're very happy with the covid procedures in place. Seating areas spread out between pub and marquee, staff all wearing masks and visors. The food was beautifully cooked, presented and delivered in a timely manner, even though very busy. Drinks served at table regularly and glasses cleared promptly. Staff were very cheery and friendly, efficient and helpful (well done to all the serving staff and kitchen staff). We will definitely be recommending to friends and family, and revisiting again.

I have ordered my main form the chefs special, because sound it delicious. But unfortunately it was not as good as it could be. Very confused dish my chicken was dry :(, sauce was creamy but on the bland side. I could not tase any dill or shiitake mushrooms in my meal. My other friends were happy with their meals steak and burger.I am a bit disappointed tbh because I was looking forward good meal here.On the good side very nice pub, plenty of carpark, lively. Very nice and friendly staff.Gets very busy, so it might require booking.

All the staff are helpful, polight and efficient. The pub is what we call a proper village pub. It's clean friendly and the food is fantastic. Please be advised if you are going to go please book. We didn't on our first visit and the manager was so helpful enabling us to stay and eat. We were so lucky. We will be booking back up the next time we come on holiday this way again.
