The Old Manor Inn in North Somerset

Quite a large place with a very small area as a small child's park. A bit tired on the inside. Staff were polite and efficient. Food was ok, but nothing special. More of a holiday grab something to eat place, but it was alright.

Booked a table for 12 (4 were children)for 1930, ordered food, told 1 hour wait, went back after the hour to be told the food wasn't even being cooked yet. The member of staff explained that deliveroo and just eat orders take priority over customers in the restaurant even though we had already paid for the food.... Shocking service and won't be returning, we had a full refund and left.

The food was okay value for the money but my burger was cold and the chips were half cooked. It seemed very chaotic at the bar with no order. Menu has a lot of variety and good ideas, just doesn’t seem to execute them well. Overall a cheap meal out but nothing to rave about.

Ordered via the app, some drinks were out of stock, waited almost 45mins( after speaking to 2 staff and a trip to the bar) for a refund. Then had to re order drinks. Staff pleasant, food was good, but system didn't work and staff didn't know what to do. Shame! Will give it another go... Just thankful it wasn't busy!

Visited the old manor Sunday 30th January, group of us went in no issues finding a table, steak was cooked to perfection, loved the skillet with the fried onions and the offer they have on the gin tree is great ! Would highly recommend!

If you want a cheap but ok experience that isn't a wetherspoons, then it is ideal and the menu is a bit more exciting. If your expectations are any higher, then don't bother. Staff are slightly more attentive at spoons though, stood at the bar for a while and coughed before she got off her phone to serve us

We were sat in a cold draughty section of the pub even though it was empty and plenty of other seating around. When we placed our order we had to re choose 4 of our choices as it wasn't available. Food was average. I had a stack burger which was over filled with a gloupy bland cheese sauce and accompanied by just chips. Dessert was a sundae, so much raspberry sauce I could have just drank it and the chocolate buttons were swimming in it. A shame as has in the past been a nice place to eat. No atmosphere either which was a shame especially this time of year.

Good meal although my daughter's request for a medium rare steak was difficult for them to get right. It came on one of these sizzling platters which continued to cook the steak more as it was brought from kitchen to table. It needs to be served on an ordinary plate.

Took my 18 year old daughter here on Halloween night. Nice decor, excellent meal + drinks + desert (very good value at about £30) Really good night out. Excellent ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
