Went yesterday with a mate for a pub lunch .Proper pub as they used to be. Steak was was fantastic, Stella was well chilled . A result me thinks?? Go check it out ? Cheers Steve

Great pub, nice landlord and good food, what more do you want.

Lovely views, very clean. Only serve food at lunchtime (12-2). We didn't receive a very warm welcome and pub was very quiet for 1pm on a Saturday. Closed in the afternoons. On the plus side they have lovely views over the Bristol channel.

Real pub, Clean. Friendly knowledgeable Landlord who's been running it for years. Fantastic sea views, the food is good value for money. Steak chips & peas £9.50p :) well kept bar. Award winning gardens, great place to sit outside in the summer. Ideal spot to enjoy a pint after a coastal walk. I'll be back.

Great, traditional pub. Very knowledgeable landlord so if you want to learn about local history it's worth a visit. No children welcome inside (they can have drinks outside) so, if like me, you want a quiet drink this is your pub.

Nice to be back again after lock down. Many improvements have been made, including a large outdoor under cover area, and a lot of completely open air seats. Good view of the Bristol channel and Wales. The landlord,Vic, is a fund of local knowledge, and a local character. I always enjoy a good pint, and good conversation. However, respect the hostelry, or you might find why mine host is thought.to be related to Basil Fawlty! A really good local, worth a visit.

If you prefer a modern theme pub don't go here. The Ship is a proper pub with a friendly and welcoming local Landlord and Landlady. The beer is very well kept and among the best you'll get anywhere and very reasonably priced. And they now take payment by card (although I think cash is preferred). Stopped by at 14:30pm today, perhaps a minute late. The pub closed at 14:30pm and the lady at bar seemingly happy not to bother serving another customer. Was told that, according to her clock, it was now 14:35pm and proceeded to walk away. Wasn't interested to know that we had made a special journey to the Ship. Plenty of open space and seating but only half-dozen tables in use. Perfect time to enjoy a drink outside in the sun but alas it wasn't to be. You can have too many customers on a late Sunday afternoon even when it's only 14:30pm and the pub is blessed with a large outside seating area. Will we visit again?

I quite liked this pub. Old fashioned interior decor and landlord. Drinks were good value and decent. Seating was comfortable, outside seating area is pleasant. Bar snacks are good. The landlady was slightly moody when I asked when closing time was. Again take cash as he doesn't accept card(fair enough). Car park is spacious as well. Definitely worth a visit and would go there again.
