The Ship Inn in North Somerset

Can't knock the food, that was good. Service was dreadful. We waited well over an hour for our meal. Annoyingly others that came in after us were served their meals and left whilst we were still waiting. Will not be going there again. The server was a lovely lass who did her best but as usual there was not enough staff laid on. She was rushed off her feet. Very disappointed.

I had an amazing Lunch time meal with 8 friends today for just under £10 each we had lovely well cooked meal and pudding. The service was brilliant all our meals came out at the same time and were hot. The staff are lovely and friendly too.

Lovely roast on Mother's Day and accommodated our two dogs...the only tiny thing was 3 people but only 5 new potatoes!! Otherwise it was lovely and we managed not to squabble over the potato haha

Just had a sunday roast and to say I was extremely disappointed is an unstatement, one slice of meat one small dish of overcooked vedge for 6 and 2 small bowls of what I believe was cauliflower cheese.

Lovely pub. Had a lovely meal on Friday evening. Went back for a lovely Sunday lunch. Highly recommend the Ship if you like us were visiting Uphill.

The ship inn in uphill is a great pub! I always enjoy a pint whilst sat by the hearty Fire! It's always good service and the beer is always decent. I haven't tried the food but I hear that it's very good. All in all, the perfect place to warm yourself on a cold winters day or in the summer, sit in the sunny beer garden and try the outdoor bar! 5 stars for The Ship Inn.

Stayed at the local touring site and visiting this charming pub with our puppy. Lovely welcome, and lovely food. Lots of choice of food and drink. Will visit again in February when we are back in the area.

Popped in here for some lunch. Very friendly staff and the food was really good. The place is pet friendly and would definitely visit when we go to Weston-super-Mare next time.
