The Windmill Inn in North Somerset

Superb views, lovely service by the staff. Drinks refreshing. Food is competitively priced for the atmosphere. I am somewhat of a burger connoisseur and found for £15 the burger and chips were excellent value. Large burger and cooked to perfection. Chips are delicious and some of the best we have had. My partner had the haddock and loved it.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Windmill.The tables are sensibly spaced out allowing for patrons to move about comfortably.The staff are friendly, efficient and professional. The food was delicious. Our group all had different options from the menu and everyone was well satisfied with their choice.There was a wide choice of refreshment which was sensibly priced.The views from our table looking over towards Wales offered a wonderful backdrop.It is well worth a visit.

Good menu choice, great views from restaurant and excellent service

A truly lovely place to visit. Friendly welcome, we had a lovely meal there. Came out on lovely hot plates. And it's reasonably priced. Plus the views on a sunny day are fabulous. Beautiful view of Wales . Lots of lovely outdoor space too,the same goes for inside the pub

Food was really nice. Service was none existent. We were never asked for our drinks or food order. Had to go to the bar to get our drinks because servers were outright ignoring us. Food order we had to walk across the room to get a server. Her attitude when ordering food was.... Interesting. We felt like an inconvenience.When it came to paying the bill, we jokingly tried to do a slow walk out (one of our party is a wheelchair user and would definitely make a very slow getaway!) Even then we had to grab a waiter to pat the bill. My wife fed back the poor service and he just laughed it off.Difficult one, really nice pub with great food but the service today was atrocious.

Amazing food. 😋 😋 😋 😋 Amazing service. Very friendly. Amazing views especially on a lovely sunny day (as outside tables)or even a day when not sunny .. Yet the weather calm. Still the views are clear to see across over to Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿. A beautiful place and the interior is quality too. I would definitely recommend this place for a day out. Ask for a window table if the weather forecast isn't OK to sit outside because still lovely and very relaxing too. Overall this place is excellent. Highly recommended. 💯. Enjoy. And i will definitely be going back again for the Nut Roast. Plus they cater for food allergies and are very accommodating. To alter anything. (& a plastic container to take anything bk wv you that you just might not of been able to squeeze in 😉) Parking is good also. (the toilets are clean) and just a beautiful place to treat your friends to tasty foods of All kinds. Go treat yourself ladies and gents!!! 😉

The food was good, it was a pleasant atmosphere and the staff were all very polite and friendly.Only minor gripe was the distinction between the main menu and the child's: my friend had inadvertently picked the child's menu and had decided on a pasta dish, to be informed that it was a child's portion and there wasn't an adult equivalent available... As if putting double the food onto the plate was problematic.

Popped in as in the area for a sunday lunch, staff were friendly and helpful, we hadn't booked but found us a table. We weren't sat by the windows but if you are the views are fantastic. The sunday lunch was ok, could have been hotter, would return but would have something else.

I like their garden where you can sit on a different levels so no one insist the view of the River Severn and the Prince of Wales bridge. There's a lovely field next to the pub, a nice place to walk your dog after the food. Nothing special with food tho.

Excellent food, with a good menu. We had a great table in front of the main window. Would have been five stars, but our waiter wasn’t the best, nevertheless we would certainly return.
