Weston Beach Cafe in North Somerset
Where is Weston Beach Cafe?
🏠 Marine Parade, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1AT
"We’re a small family run Café, Bistro. We serve only the finest A grade food available. We have a summer & winter menu due to busy periods in the summer because of the location of the Café on the beach. Our summer menu is cut back for speed and quality. The winter menu has more of a home made feel for our locals to enjoy through the cold winter days next to our roaring fire. And with the views there really isn’t anywhere that comes close to the personal relaxing family touch. If all you want is a hot drink and a slice of our fresh cream cakes your more than welcome to come and have a warm up. Please keep a look out for our changing menus and our daily specials board for something different. Hopefully we will see you soon."

I have been In this place twice now never again the price for the meals are expensive and the chips are not that great. I would go to Victoria cafe 150 meters up the road they are offering fish and chips coffee or a tea for £8.95 why pay over the odds for rude staff and food that as been thrown together. Me and my family won't be eating here ever again.

Not proper chip shop chips. We ordered 3 portions as a snack (family of 4), Happy to pay premium to eat inside. Observed proper fried fish, proper curry sauce (we had a dish) but poor chips. Most people travelling to the seaside would expect better chips. Its part of the trip to the seaside. You pay top end here to eat in but the chips here are what you cook at home.

Nice piece of fish. I thought by the "freshly cooked fish and chips" sign, the chips would be fresh but they were frozen. Had 2 lots of fish & chips and it came to £17.80 & said I had to pay £1 for the toilet even though we ordered there?

Friendly staff and a hot chocolate. I had the luxury one with marshmallows and chocolate flake. Lovely view of beach out to sea. Nice menu.

I visited this beach cafe yesterday afternoon and was greeted by a friendly staff member who made me feel so welcome even though I was the only person in there.I was given a menu and told to sit anywhere I wanted, I decided on the fish & chips with mushy peas with a glass of Chardonnay and continued to order & pay as the till once I was ready.Nobody came in the whole duration of my visit, so whether this kind male server took pity in me because it was so cold outside and let me eat in the restaurant area when they were actually on the verge of closing I really don't know, but the small bottle of wine that was brought over to me as well as the meal a little later by a friendly lady was lovely, I would of liked the fish a little thicker but overall I was made to feel welcome and not a hindrance, plus the food was hot & tasty for just under £20, so a big thank you to everyone concerned as I left there completely satisfied.

Good brew, good cake although they were pricey so maybe an idea to ask first. Space indoors, outdoor seating available also, would imagine it fills up quickly in the lunch times. Toilets clean but very small.

Not the place it used to be, visited 2 years ago and one of the highlights of the day was the fish and chips on the beach. This time it.was the worst part. 😪 The fish was barely in there, very thin, dried out and small and the chips were frozen chips cooked to the point where 75 percent of them were just the skin with all the potato gone!! Grease is the word 🤮

I have been here a few test since 2019 and even with the difficulty of the pandemic, the standards of the place haven't dropped at all. Prices are what you would expect for a beachfront cafe. Lovely devour, good food with generous portions and very helpful and friendly staff. Always make sure I come here when out for the day in Weston. They also are aware and cater for people with allergen needs such as gluten-free and vegetarian etc. Excellent ✅
