Winstons Fish Bar in North Somerset

Have to be honest my visit here was totally unplanned and only came here because the queue at another neighbouring fish and chip place was too long. To my surprise the quality was quite exceptional. My partner had the fish and it looked high quality, white meat, no bones and crispy batter. Believe me that's rare at these places. Chips were very well cooked and perfectly seasoned. We ate the lot! The only down side was I ordered 2 Pepsi's expecting 2 cans of Pepsi (why wouldn't you?) But no we were given two paper pepsi refillable cups with flat tasteless non authentic Pepsi syrup water from a tap. Hardly worth £1.50 each. I'll be honest I was pretty fuming at that. If you're going to advertise pepsi please sell legitimate pepsi!! Especially at that price!

Great food but the slow service is a real Shame.Waitress at the front counter was great, running around getting all the orders but she was completely let down by her kitchen staff, I've never seen slower staff working in a busy seafront take away.I ordered 1x large chips, 3 battered sausages and some chicken nuggets, which took 28 minutes to arrive!Such a shame

Lovely clean restaurant with excellent and efficient service. Fish and chips were cooked fresh, and whole meal was lovely. The fish tasted nice and fresh too. Will definitely return. Many thanks

Fantastic fish and chips. Can't Fault Them!

There are 3 outstanding chippies in Weston and Winstons has remained our favourite for over 10 years, the food is fresh and delicious, the venue is kept immaculately clean and the staff are always very helpful and friendly.

We went for lunch, I ordered fish & chips, mushy peas, slice of bread and a cup of tea and the wife ordered the same. The fish was on the small side the chips not that great. The cost £33 and odd pence which I think was the best part of £10 over priced which is a real shame because its a great place and the staff were really friendly. I don't think I'll bother going back.

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time, fish batter was crispy, fish was white and flaky and fresh, chips by greasy at all and prefect in my eyes. I ordered garden peas which were missing when we got our order but this was soon rectified. Staff were very pleasant

Average fish and chips. The cod was ok not very tasty, the chips was nice. I was thinking is much better because at the summer I always see a big line waiting. My kids didn't like the kids meal fish. I am sorry but not impressed.

Best fish and chips I have ever had! Light crispy batter, with flakey white fish inside. Crispy and soft chips. Will definitely be back again.
