A Taskinha Portuguese Cafe and Store in Plymouth

I didn't realise this place was so big and the offering so extensive. The service is extremely friendly and the prices a bit high but worth it. Now, the food.... is to die for! Fantastic! Amazing! Delicious! Breakfast, lunch and dinner. You have it all jere.

A very friendly and welcoming restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic and the waitress helped us choose a dish as well. Started to get quite be busy after 18.30. Highly recommended.

Ordered takeaway of house steak and chips with salad. Was super tasty and portions generous! They even let me borrow their metal cutlery which I hope to duly return...

Good olives, plump grilled sardines, crushed potatoes and a fresh salad. All washed down with a jug of Vinho Verde. Friendly Portugese staff, great atmosphere and enjoyed by locals for a pre theatre dinner. The coffee and custard tart was good too!

Amazing place , amazing owner & staff. If you ever want to feel like your in Portugal & not Plymouth then get on down there . The foods something else😍

A wonderful place where as a vegan i was made to feel welcome and attentively looked after. Food was delicious in generous portions and the staff were warm and friendly. I will definitely visit again.

Good points: Every time we eat here, we get the chicken. It's delicious and very well wrapped up whenever we decide to take it home with us. Still piping hot after 20-30 minute journey. Very tasty coffee too, staff are friendly and professional.Bad points: Not enough cakes! Please bring more of those tasty Portuguese cakes!

If you like Nando's, get yourself an original here. Great service and food. Despite being a restaurant, kinda feels like you're going around someone's house. Restaurant to the rear, café up front, street side tables, too. If you're of a certain age you can sit outside and reminisce weekend nights of your youth. If you've been on holiday to Portugal, they also have a well stocked shop with all your Portuguese favourites.

Great local business run by wonderful people. Very authentic Portuguese dishes with fresh ingredients and nice charcoal grill. This is one of the very rare places that offers gorgeous seafood dish and as a Japanese, it's so precious! Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Owners couple are always fun, warm, hardworking and pleasant. Never had any disappointment and I always come back to enjoy special moment.During the first lockdown, they did coffee takeaway. I love their custard and cinnamon roll😍

Really great restaurant. Came to Plymouth for a break and wanted some real Portuguese food as my wife is Portuguese and we haven't been there for a while due to COVID-19. Fantastic food, great restaurant with real authentic atmosphere, staff very friendly and great reminder of Portugal.
