The girls who cook the fish are amazing cooks for a start and most places are non-dog friendly well this restruant does! As soon as someone leaves they make sure it is cleaned up ASAP!!

Our family use this fish bar as the food is plentiful, enjoyable, affordable when visiting the Barbican for our holidays. I've had a chip butty which was filling, the fish was large and delicious for my husbands meal. The kids had chips and mushy peas which were lovely. The fish bar serves hot drinks too. We had our meal indoors in the seating area near the window, the neutral decor is a lovely tone and the chairs and seating are comfy. The counter staff are helpful and pleasant whilst serving customers. Atm cash machine inside too.

Lovely staff and excellent food, would recommend to anyone who visits the famous Barbican. After eating there are several hostelries in the area where you can spend a few hours people watching.

Not great chips honestly.Could get better somewhere else.Bit disappointed.Got a tango ice blast too.Mad over priced for ice.Know they can’t help that because it’s not their brand but could at least say the price somewhere before I spent a fiver without meaning too.Wouldn’t recommend but gave it a 2 because nice server.

The first time a chippy forgot to put fish in my take away order (of fish and chips). How difficult can it be to actually do your job right?

Popped in here for a quick lunch to share with family. At first the appearance of the establishment was what caught my eye, it's a very well presented place and also had a digital self service machine available. Now, on to the food. The chips where nice! What else do you expect from a chippy! But as for everything else, it was a bit poor.Paying £1.50 for a very mediocre bread roll and some butter attached to the packaging was not what I was expecting! The roll itself was very poor quality and had the texture of sawdust. I now realise why it was not buttered, because it would have just fell apart. The curry sauce was definitely out of a jar/tub, it was not chip shop curry sauce. Might as well have gotten a jar of uncle Ben's from the co-op a few doors down. The sausage was just your standard chip shop sausage, but for £2.50!!Overall a poor experience. Overpriced! Especially for the quality!

Nice place to get a good portion of fish and chips. Usual chip shop food available. Take away or sit inside. Toilets for customers inside.
