Beggars Banquet in Plymouth

Wow, accidentally stumbled in here, so glad we did, amazing decor, our food and drinks were delicious, the people were great.

Good quantity for the prices, and generally the quality is good. Some ingredients seem a bit cheap but still very good value

Absolutely incredible team of staff! The cocktails are amazing!!! And the atmosphere is so alternative and edgy but cosy and comfortable at the same time. Dog friendly and it's always so welcoming. Love going there!

Wonderful drinks, not very good food. However due to the setup of the area you can order drinks from Beggar's Banquet and food from Caffeine Club without any issue.The lighting in the area also seems off, and is often quieter than Caffeine Club, making the are feel less welcoming.

Food was alright, however couldn't finish alot of it as I'd underestimated serving size so i asked for it to be taken away. Once I got home however, realised they'd stolen 75% of what I'd ordered and left me with a pathetically small amount left to take home. Which is basically just stealing my money as I'd paid for the full amount, not to eat some at the restaurant, then have 15% of the 75% I had left to take home? Basic theft, but other than that, nice decor, alright food, good beer.

Love that this place is open 24/7Their selection of teas is great. Food quality is constantly good. Majority enjoy that there is a variety of foods available all day and nightOnly wish that they offered WiFi

This place has great food and decor BUT!!! they play 2 totally different music tracks in what is essentially a shared room (upstairs) with next door!!! We set up there for a long (3hr) game before realising this - both stereos were so loud you couldn't even try and mentally drown one out. We couldn't move downstairs so it was stay and put up with it or drive to somewhere else, 2 ppl left! How anyone running that place could think that's ok, playing no music than that would be better :-/

Best place for a drink in the sun as the balcony is really nice. Prices are more than affordable and we received the best customer service from Abi, she should get a raise!

I love this place it's the go to to meet friends before a heavy night out but recently just before the refurbishment they started to play music very loud and I don't think that beggars should be like that, it's more of a chill zone. Finally I was in the other day (sat 24th) and the guys working were hilarious, couldn't remember their names but one was bald and had glasses and the other short hair and a medium sized beard very nice guys :)
