Boringdon Arms Inn Restaurant in Plymouth

A lovely local pub where we, party of seven, were well received by the friendly staff. We all enjoyed the food (the lamb shank - a special on the day - was finger licking great). Ampke parking was close by, even though the pub is well tucked away. One tip: order your dessert well on time.... my slice of cake took 50 minutes (!) from ordering till receiving, hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating...

Stayed for a weekend to go diving, ate both nights food was great and good portions. Beer and cider good as well. 😊. Great place to stay if to are using Mountbatten

Stopped here for lunch while exploring Plymouth and were delighted with our meal! It is so reasonably priced, there is loads to choose from on the menu and the pub has a lovely, friendly atmosphere. I really enjoyed my food (chicken burger) which came with so many fries - amazing value and would definitely come again!

Just popped in for a lunch. Lived round here for past 10 years but never tried it. My bad! Really good food, and the wine was decent too. Will definitely go in again soon.

Amazing food ale, location and atmosphere. The Boringdon is one of my favourite pubs in Plymouth. Although it is an hour walk for me, when I have the get up and go about myself. I will very happily trudge to have an evening there.Me and my partner spent new years eve there and had a blast with a dj playing all evening. Lots of space inside and outside. Stunning beer garden! With a cliff face incasing it in, and great attention to detail on the flower beds. I cannot rate it enough!

Stayed for one night, great value for money in mid August. Friendly, helpful staff and nice food.Nice view from the room if the water and good comfortable beds. Ordered fish and chips on the saturday evening while the pub was packed and everything was tasty and well presented.Would definitely stay again when visiting Plymouth, 5 stars.

A great friendly pub. Food and beer are really nice and a good price too. The dogs enjoyed it as they get treats from the bar when we get our drinks. I will definitely be returning.

What a lovely pub and staff are so friendly and helpful. Its the first time I have visited Turnchapel and thought I would pop in for a bite to eat and meet a friend. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, even my dog got made welcome and had a little treat. It was all very well laid out and lots of different areas you can sit. The food was amazing! Well done guys, you are doung a great job! Would highly recommend you and will be out to see you again. ☺

Great little pub. Has been refurbished to a high standard, but unlike lots of other pubs, it has kept its own identity and original features. Beer, real ale, always very good and well kept. Only had a pub lunch snack which I was very happy with. What food I have seen ordered by others looks fine. It's on the South West coastal path and dogs are very welcome. My dog always gets a treat and is also very pleased to visit. Well worth a visit.
