Boringdon Park in Plymouth

Boringdon is a great venue and situated in a fabulous location with views out over Plymouth and the sound. I've been to Boringdon hundreds of times for business events, quiz nights, black tie dinners and weddings. The staff are really friendly, Nick & Jon are really helpful

We attended a reception here for a funeral. The food was absolutely delicious though a cutlery option for the cakes would have been nice and nothing was gluten free ( this may have been available if asked, I don't know). There was only one toilet on the floor we were on which was surprising and the venue was cosy if rather impersonal. It was warm enough despite the drizzle outside. I couldn't tell you about the golf as I have no interest in that but the golf bar had the feel of a Wetherspoons without the character features. It was a weekday so very quiet. Staff seemed a little harassed but were pleasant. The food was plentiful and delicious and I did feel we could have asked for things if needed. Overall I was impressed with the atmosphere for the occasion.

Visit regularly for networking events. Food always great, friendly staff. Yet to try the golf course, but heard good things!

Driving range looks a bit tired but overall a nice place. £6 for 100 balls which I thought was a good price. Not sure if you can hire clubs, bring your own driver/set just incase. Self service and card only for what I could see, golf lessons were a great price too, £24-£28 a month for 2, 30 minute sessions which is a great price.

Thoroughly recommend getting married at Boringdon Park Golf Club. Amanda and team were so friendly, helpful and professional and went over and above to help make the day run smoothly and the venue more beautiful than we ever imagined. Nothing was too much trouble.All our guests have commented on how amazing the food was including for our vegan guests and how efficiently served too.The setting is beautiful and looks stunning in our photos.Amanda personally helped us decorate the venue working long into the night with us, with good humour and a lot of patience (Jon Amanda deserves a pay rise for putting up with me!).I wish we could do it all over again as it truly was the best day of my life and my husband Steve and I cannot thank you enough for making it so magical.
