Come in the brass monkey today for a quick bite and some drinks. The manager Nicky served us and was really professional and friendly as well as the other member of staff who greeted us when we approached the bar. The drinks were delicious and the small plate offer that we went for was great value for money

Came down to visit my family in Plymouth for a couple of days and my mum brought me to the Brass Monkey for some food and drink. I was really impressed with all the offers they had available from the 2-4-1 cocktails that's we went for to the 5 small plates for 11.99. All the staff were really polite and friendly especially our server who I believed to be the manager Nicky

Been wanting to go for a while. Finally got a chance to go and it was very nice. Food and drinks were very nice and very well portioned too. Amazing value for money. Will be going again

It's cheap, the experience is as expected. Certainly nothing exceptional about it but for the price it's a decent enough place. Full English breakfast for two was delivered quickly and was ok. It's often quite busy and I'm pretty sure some people are very regular drinkers due to the low prices.

Good food, well priced. Nice atmosphere. Just wish waiters/waitresses wouldn't ask if everything was OK during the meal.

·

Good honest food and drink and excellent value. Regular visitor for quality full English breakfast. Service with a smile. Can’t fault it

Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Food is always good. Beer and wine nice. I think the only thing is when the football is on. Gets very noisy and not a city drink dining experience that I enjoy. Lovely every other time.

Food and drinks are a great price and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Enjoyable from a lunch with a friend to parties and special events. Cannot fault

The food is DELICIOUS and very filling 😋, if you are dinning with friends or more than 2 people it's worth trying the small plates as a share 3 for £8.99 or 5 plates for £11.99. The service was very quick and we didn't have to wait long at all to get our food. Very pleasant and nice place to eat

I've just done a 15 mile walk. I need a beer and some food. My heart is telling me.....Union Rooms....but I'm going to try the Brass Monkey. Big mistake !! Manager was good and the Spitfires immense. But from there it went downhill. Miniscule pie and chips and peas....not mixed veg as per menu....and it cost me over 13 quid with the pint. Unfortunately had a surly waitress who didn't want to engage...and then didn't put my order through! In fairness the Manager gave me a pint free....It's not a patch on good old Wetherspoons!!
