A very late review, sorry. The bread is really good, nice staff, food was decent and I the interior architecture of the bakery. Also prices aren't bad to either.

I can’t praise this place enough. Everything I’ve ever eaten there has been delicious. They make a great cup of Origin coffee and the staff go out of their way to make every experience a pleasure. A real hidden gem worth seeking out if you’re ever in Plymouth.

Must be some of the best bread in Plymouth ?....and very well priced.... with loyalty card too! We always get our sourdough here. Lovely vegan treats too :)

Safe and very sound but not enormous. Get here promptly. If you are just buying bread particularly. Good size lunches at sensible prices. Relaxing place to meet.

Had a superb morning learning how to bake bread. Lunch and coffee provided as well. Many thanks to Jon Denley for the hands on experience.

A very cosy coffee/tea house with sense of history. The original Bakehouse was started in the old Mortuary space in Devonport Guildhall. It is a little out of the way, but well worth a visit. The Bakehouse produces a range of organic breads. Meals and cakes are also available. They all look delicious. For the enthusiast, short courses in bread making are available.

Community bakery. Pleasant venue and atmosphere in the old guildhall. Breads baked from scratch and very tasty. Tasting board is a great introduction, with the unique charcoal bread surprisingly tasty. Serves coffees and cakes for a lighter bite and sandwiches for something more.Loaves available for purchase also, so enjoy a nice lunch before completing your shopping..

Nice and quiet, a pleasant place to be. Friendly staff. Cheese on toast was spot on, coffee was good. Priced reasonably. Parking difficult but take a ride around the block and there's plenty within a one to two minute walk.

Just a quick meet up for coffee. This place really surprised me and is a little gem in Devonport. I never expected this little cafe to be there on the side of a large building with columns outside. Obviously lots of others knew about it. You could eat and drink in. Cakes and savoury. Hot and cold drinks. Bread was for sale to take away. All looked and tasted great. Will definitely be going back.

Very nice snack today. I had a cheesecake and flat white. Bought a loaf of bread too which was delish! Only problem was no sign of the food menu when I was there.
