Derriford Chinese Takeaway in Plymouth

We use derriford Chinese many of times and 3 times now they mess up our order - left the chips off the last order- didn’t refund the missing order - said 10% of next order - ( wouldn’t of covered the chips!)not using again now - I always give a restaurant’s a few chances. Really is not hard to double check an order before it leaves! Shame because it’s a good Chinese but customer service is not good

I ordered some crispy chilli beef and a house special fried rice and some soft noodles.The crispy chilli beef was crispy and phew! it was spicy, really nicely done. The house special fried rice was amazing tasting with massive bits of meat and a lovely smokey flavour. My partner really enjoyed her soft noodles tooI saw that they were on justeat but decided to phone them directly because it's cheaper (no justeat service charge or markup) and the delivery was quicker than expected too. The delivery girl was really cheerful.Definitely ordering from here again

We have used this chinese for many years but after today we will be looking for a new one! Very dissapointed and wondering if it is under new ownership or has a new chef! The prices have gone up but the quality has certainly gone down. The so called special fried rice was supose to have bbq sauce on it but was barely noticeable and the curry was almost like water. The chicken balls are also smaller and the batter soft. Sorry derriford but disapointed.

It's our usual Chinese takeaway, however the food wasn't very good this time, the food wasn't very hot even though it was delivered about 40 minutes after placing the order and the large pancake rolls batter were dripping in oil.

This was our third order from the Derriford Chinese as we love the food. It is more authentic tasting than the ones more local to us.But don't order online! We would normally rate our xperience as a 5 but last night no.Last night we had a guest and decided to order a takeaway.As previously done, I placed an order online and waited and waited. The timer ran out on the app and it still said preparing. We waited another 30 minutes and nothing. I tried the online chat and it kept just chucking me out and asking for a rating! We tried for over a 30 minute period to get through via the telephone and when we did the lady was polite and said the sorry but the driver had just left. Our food would be 10 to 15 minutes.That was a lie! The food arrived 25 minutes later and was stone cold and inedible. We will still buy from here as the food is normally beautiful but will definitely collect in future.

We love this takeaway, but the last 2 times that we have ordered it has taken 3 hours to get to us. Never again

Just moved back into the area after 18 years away, sweet and sour chicken & chicken fried rice was excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend Derriford Chinese Takeaway..would not hesitate to recommend

The person taking my order was so up beat i was laughing as I ordered and a credit to the takeaway. The food arrived within the 45 min time which on a Friday is fantastic. Food was spot on at a great price . Will def order again as this was my first order with these guys. No I am.not related to anyone at the takeaway just a v good experience. Keep it up

It was ok. 1 Wrong food given. Given a collection time on ordering but got there and it hasn’t been cooked so waited another 20 minutes. It was a Wednesday night so not a busy Friday/Saturday. Flavours weren’t there. Sweet and sour sauce was a bit funky tasting. Just disappointed.
