Drakes bar and lounge, Crown Plaza Plymouth in Plymouth

Great location. Large rooms. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast, including freshly swueezed O.J, smoothie of the day and eggs cooked to order if requested.Nice gym, sauna and steam. Difficult to swim in the pool as it's very shallow. But apart from that, all good. Second time here and definitely would repeat.

I stayed here at the weekend and from start to finish the experience was fantastic.We were checked in by Jada and Eric who were warm, polite and professional, nothing was too much trouble,I was having a special time away and my room was decorated and looked wonderful, many thanks to Lois, Jamie, Adrianna and Alan.I would also like to say thank you to Damiano who brought us breakfast to our room when we missed the hotel breakfast, it was so kind.Thank you once again to the amazing team. You all made our stay so special.We will definitely be back,

This is a very good hotel, ideal if your staying overnight having seen a show at either theatre Royal or pavilions. This is because both venues are in walking distance. Also in walking distance of railway stationVery efficient and thoughtful staff. Rooms are good but bathroom seems small. Breakfast on the top floor is self serve but good, wide range of foods. Amazing views over Plymouth sound! Would recommend hotel.

The hotel was ideally located and was easy to check in. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, we fancied a night cap. The bar wasn't busy but it was unattended, that at 10pm, we thought it was shut. Eventually got served and it wasn't any better, ordering another drink. Not very friendly. Breakfast in the morning was worth the money. A nice selection from the buffet section and a view to die for.

The professionalism, friendliness, cleanliness, level of service, views and food are truly unbeatable. A true holiday abroad in the UK. The staff could not have been more accommodating if they had tried. Spent 5 nights on holiday alone whilst house and job hunting, everyone was exceptionally knowledgeable, took time to talk to me and make me feel very welcomed. Truly feel blessed to have stayed in not just a beautiful place but a place with beautiful people.

Good and spacious room with nice view to sea. Good sized indoor pool, steam and sauna are a plus.Breakfast served are really good. Dinner was okay.. but there are more charges, vat, service and tax on top of this..Cost of the starter Calamari in regular menu is double the cost from a kids menu, although the dish / quantity served for kids / Adults are exactly the same, which I don't understand.

VERY ENJOYABLE STAYThe room was clean and a decent size. Ceiling in the bathroom was low when you stood in the bath to have a shower. Breakfast is abundant and of good quality with a fine view. Drinks could have been quicker to be offered and delivered at breakfast. Saying that staff were helpful and polite.
