Ferry House Inn in Plymouth

Back to my old haunt from 31 yrs ago when a teenager.The place has certainly changed. The bar is now a little cosy restaurant and the old lounge area is the bar.The menu is amazing and food is so tasty. The quality of the ingredients are fantastic. You can definitely taste the difference.Food cooked beautifully and we'll presented too.The chef is a credit to your establishment.They have a varied menu and two theme night menus. One was a gourmet burger night (Monday I think) and the other an American night ( Thursday).Well worth a visit for food.

Went for lunch with friends midweek.I chose the chicken tikka and to be honest, it was awful. It was basically pieces of chicken in a tomato and onion sauce. There was no spicing whatsoever, so much so that the onion bhaji served with it was spicier than the meal. The naan bread was shop bought and as a result was thick and doughy. Other friends in the group were also very unhappy at their meal choices.I will definitely not be returning even if our group re-book

This is a very friendly pub. It's in the the Good Beer Guide. Last time I ate there it was good quality pub food. It has a lovely outside area next to the River Tamar. I highly recommend it

A fantastic place to stay, both owners and staff were welcoming. The food was excellent, bedroom was lovely and spacious and a great view from our window. Everyone was friendly and made our stay really pleasant. Cannot fault the place, highly recommended, will definitely come again.

Thank you to the ferry house in for a fantastic stay over new year, excellent accommodation , staff very friendly, lovely breakfast, in a fantastic location over looking the river would definitely recommend staying here . Will be back in the near future

Great friendly pub, very good value for money, real log fire burning. Enjoyed our two course meal, was so full couldnt manage dessert! Great variety on menu. Will eat here again.

Beautiful clean and spacious room, with a fantastic view of the River and Bridge. Lovely friendly staff and the Food was fantastic. If you're saying in Plymouth I would highly recommend this place.

Probably one of the best B&B I've stayed at. Spent 2 wonderful nights here.Owners and staff are so friendly and helpful, and pop up everywhere when you need someone.Room was super clean. Most comfortable bed I've slept in for a long time and the view is just incredible.There are outdoor tables where you can have a few drinks and watch the most beautiful sunset from.The chef is also very friendly and definitely knows he food. Good portion sizes too!I give you a 10/10 and will find a reason to come back.

I booked for a one night stop over with an evening meal and was not disappointed. The staff were lovely and the room was immaculate with a super view over the river. I slept so well! There was a varied menu serving delicious, hearty pub grub. Our meal was delicious. Our breakfast was great too, with lots of coffee. If I'm down again, I'll definitely be back.
