Fish and Chips on the Corner in Plymouth

Very disappointed ordered 2 fish and chips went to collect and the girl serving had long hair was playing with it and flicking it around..should at least be tied up and should never be handling food after touching her hair that's basic health and hygiene..the food well the chips were OK in one portion but the other was literally all the bits and hard and the fish was OK but the battery oh my so thick and doughy undercooked inside..such a shame isedcto like this place but unfortunately won't use again

Friendly staff I had what they call fish bites and chips chips were nice but not overly keen with fish bites as didn't know what the fish was. But nicely cooked.

Nice Cod and chips we had last night, prices are not bad compared to home.Not enough chips to be honest, fish is overcook but it was overall nice! Pea fritter I dono what to make of it. It was ok. Cook freshly while you wait, ill try again soon.

Ordered again tonight and the food was piping hot and perfectly cooked delivered earlier than expected. In fact 5 stars just doesn't seem enough for this outstanding chip shop.

A tiny, independent, traditional fish and chip shop which does pretty much what it says in the tin.Clean, quick, friendly and reasonably priced.If you fancy cod and chips, or a jumbo sausage in batter (with a little pot of curry sauce, of course :-) you can't fault them.

Been there twice not impressed unfortunately. Chips are never great leave a funny taste in your mouth and stomach feeling unwell. partner asks for extra vinegar and can never taste the vinegar so must be watered down. The cheese is extremely processed and doesn't melt. Portion size is okay albeit not great so will leave 2 stars not 1. If there is nowhere else within distance and you are craving chippy then I would probably still avoid this place.

Lukewarm chips, fish had me on the toilet within half an hour, previously bought a portion of chips which I could count on 2 hands. I wouldn't have botheredleaving a review if it wasn't for the stomach pain, the fish did smell a bit off but was very hungry after work so risked it, I won't again.Also the owner seems to be in denial about it all and has asked me to contact him 3 times, seems rather aggressive

It's ok, clean and tidy. Cook to order, so always have to wait. Tasty and reasonably priced.Also took the time to discuss the reasons for.my review, hence the edit. X
