Friary Mill in Plymouth

Used to really enjoy food from here but recently the cooked pastries have started going downhill, very very dry hard pastry, falls apart, even the meat is tough and over cooked

Great pastys, friendly staff, very clean and covid safe, can't wait for them to reopen the little cafe. Does have a few vegan (could be labelled better) options but prone to selling out.

Sadly a bit of a dissapointing lunch, only a single vegetarian option (cheese and onion pastie) which was really lacking seasoning and had a texture like glue. It's a real shame as looking at the photos and online menus it looks incredible but it feels like it has gone a bit downhill since then..

Bought 2 pasties and she gave me 2 that were darker than the others. Got home and they were inedible.obviously reheated. Solid pastry and very dry filling. Had to bin it. Trying to recoup cash by ripping off customers is not a good idea.I've been using this bakery for decades, never again.

Lovely staff, best EVER bacon baps, good quality Devon pastry fayre. Cocktail and peppered steak pasties to die for. And reasonable prices.

The food here is so fresh and delicious. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I really like this place and appreciate for the great service.

A lovely bakery in a great location, the baked goods are amazing, the coffee is fantastic and the staff are sweethearts. Can’t recommend it enough.

Great pasties especially the peppered steak! A good selection of fresh bakes and sandwiches.

Fabulous 60th birthday pasty, my sister loved it, as did everyone else, something different tovtake take up north and tasted lovely. Staff were fab, very helpful, even got young man (sorry didn't get his name) to carry to the car for me. Will definitely be buying again and highly recommend. Thank you x

Really great pasties here. Friary Mill supply many of the newsagents in Plymouth so you are often eating a Friary Mill without realising.Pasties here are hot and delicious.Recommended.
