Himalayan Spice in Plymouth

Literally the best food I have had in a restaurant. The staff were amazing also!! We will be taking many many friends there

Me and my partner just wasted £60 on a very chowy lamb starter, naan bread was that burnt the waitress notic and insisted to change it, special fried rice was almost black in colour, and just tasted of soy sauce. Defo smells better than it tastes. Would not recommend.

Always perfect food and a fantastic service, ordered a lamb shank curry and it was incredible, the Rogon Josh's, vindaloo's and phaals are also a firm favourite, and the onion bahji are some of the best I've ever had, get yourself a table booked here!

This is a great little Indian restaurant that serves very tasty meals and has helpful and friendly staff. The decor of the restaurant is very rustic and certainly adds to the atmosphere. The food was very well priced and the portions were a good size.

Excellent atmosphere and attentive staff. Very different type of curries etc as its Nepali based, so it was good to try this for a change. Lovely Nepali beer which we hadn't tasted before. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again.

Good selection of Himalayan and Indian food to cater for most tastes. Potions are good and all served fresh.The front of house is a Elizabethan room full of wood beams and old world charm. The back of house has More room and better lighting.It's one of my go to eateries and we use it for birthdays and other special occasion meals out.

Very disappointed. We trusted the reviews when we made our choice for dinning at Plymouth. The location is excellent. The service good. Food is abundant BUT... not many real Himalayan dishes and the dishes we had were dry and lacked the delicacy of India special flavours and aromas.

This was our second visit to Himalayan Spice and once again it didn't disappoint. There was a slight error where my partner asked for her dish to be made mild and it wasn't, but this was quickly rectified by the kitchen and a fresh dish brought out in 7 minutes.Great friendly service and reasonable prices, especially with NHS discount (10%)We'll be back again soon 👍🏻

Exceptional food (I tried Himalayan sizzler, mixed vegetable curry, special fried rice and garlic naan). Definitely recommend the sizzler and the fried rice (probably the best fried rice I have ever had at a restaurant).Staffs are friendly and and the food is served until very late (11pm). Students get 10% off.
