Legend Kebab House in Plymouth

A few negative reviews here but I have been using Legend kebab for a couple of years and have never had a bad meal. The food has always come cooked well and piping hot. One time they had forgotten part of the order and we received the missing item within 20 minutes of the phone call. Always tasty, no complaints.

Awesome place, lovely staff and awesome taste. Recently tried Some kebabs in different places but it was absolutely favourite one.

Just had a mixed grill Kebab and it was so so good highly recommended, fast delivery and very tasty.

Cracking Mixed Doner Wrap Lovely filling, not all salad like other places. But tasty cooked meat First time using, but will be back.

NOT AS GOOD AS THEY USED TO AND RAW CHICKEN WRAPS!!!!!!Not sure what’s happened to this place, it used to be amazing. Tonight I have never had such trouble with using there website and calling the shop, the man on the phone was rude, basically shouting down the phone and no customer service at all. So we put the phone down, we was going to use somwere else but my partner loves legend. In the end we ordered on just eat. You used to be one of the best but unfortunately somthing has changed, possibly new owners everything is not the same.We ordered wrap meals tonight and we were so excited for our food. The delivery driver couldn’t find out adress even though we are a regular? Possibly a new driver maybe, 5 times he rang us, his English wasn’t very good in the end we had to go outside and the food wasn’t delivered to us like we had paid for.Finally we got our food, the chicken doner was disgusting I wouldn’t even give this to me dog. It tasted like a chip pan, and some of it was not cooked at all. The chips were not hot warm and tasted of oil and recooked. I have kept the food because the chicken is raw I will be keeping this to show the council on Monday. Disappointing never had a bad meal untill now, and my drink was out of date which I paid £1.30 for, it was also part of a multipack. I did call restaurant we’re a man answered and when I told him the problem he swore and put the phone down. I thought they would have sorted the problems and sent us a replacement. I tried to ring back and they have blocked my number. I then contacted just eat which agreed to send me a refund. I shell be contacting the council Monday morning about the raw chicken, chicken poisoning can be very dangerous especially to vunerable person or a child. This is not the same legend kebab house, no more orders will be placed for this place.

BAD BAD SERVICE.Tonight we ordered 04/12/2021. We used to use this shop minimum twice a week. Anyway we was so excited after hard week at work for our usual order. We called the shop and a man answered in such a loud tone it hurt my ear, I asked him to speak lower tone he laughed. He was rushing to take my order and his English was terrible. In the end we put the phone down. Tried to use website wasn’t working, finally we got it to work. We placed an order over £50 normally we get free desert and cheap bottle of tango Lidl one which is about 19p, and cheap cheese cake never revived it. The order came and it was not what it used to be, stale burger bun, re heated chips, swimming in grease kebab, and pizza had far too much bbq sauce. Rang to complain asked for owner were I was told it was the owner, the man said we give you 10% next time, as if 10% is good? We get that anyway for using your website! Total waste of money in my opinion £50 is a lot of money! What happened to your cheap free drink and desert? I believe the owner is Ali, my friends also use you as your the best in Plymouth. Not anymore what happened? Are you using different supplier? Your food is terrible mate, and secondly your driver couldn’t find us if he has a mobile phone he can put our address and it will take him outside our door. I also said do not ring the door bell, but he did ring it and woke my 2 week old baby up, he also tried to walk away with our charge of £10! I shell not be using you again unfortunately. You need to be real legends you used to be and get the old supplier back as the food was terrible, the chips and burgers were worsed, and put less sauce on the pizza it was not nice at all we couldn’t eat it. Sorry for bad review but had to be done we feel robbed of our money, I would like a refund but I no you are not going to do that.

AVOID IF YOU LIKE VILE SERVICE FROM THE ACTUAL OWNER!!!!!!Absolutely disgusting customer service from the owner!Placed an order like I do I use this place all the time, tonight was our sons birthday and he wanted legend for tea! So we ordered as we normally do, they forgot one pizza which was for my son! I called restaurant and I was upset and wanted this, owner said to me time and time again next time or now, he agreed now and next time aswell, due to our meal being destroyed who eats then leaves there son out when it was a special birthday tea we eat together as a family not one waiting and our food being cold, this wasn’t my fault so the customer is right!!!! And the fact we use this shop nearly every week you think would have looked after us and sent pizza straight away or even offered to take all food back and bring fresh so we can eat together. Anyway I rang back again 40 mins later to see weee pizza was, then lady answered and said boss said next time he said send you 12 inch pizza, obviously this wasn’t correct so I was passed to owner again. He was rude argued shouted down the phone several times, was so rude I was in tears, so my husband got just eat on the phone, just eat could here him shouting as I had him on loud speaker. They agreed it was wrong and restaurant should have taken food back and gave us food all together we should been priority. Then the owner starts shouting even more down phone asking why I cancelled my order literally screaming swearing down phone then put phone down on me. I have made formal complaint and recorded call which I told him I will do, and if needs be I will take this to newspapers, absolutely shocking the fact I’m regular customer aswell and he did this to us, a birthday evening ruined because of the horrible service from the OWNER very very upset awaiting now for just eat to reply. The owner obviously a money grabber doesn’t care about customer service even though it was his fault!! Even if your bussy, yes merstake happen but you should fix that merstake not argue over a £8 pizza!! And yes you should compensate for mess up when I waited 90 miniutes for order anyway! If you enjoy being shouted at swore at and food missing then this is the place for you! Will definitely never ever use this place again and will make everyone aware of disgusting vile owner!!!!!!

I can't speak for other poor reviews, but I'm confident about giving this place five stars; the food we ordered was piping hot and really good too. Probably the best pizza I've had in Plymouth. It was my girlfriend's birthday and they sent us a really nice treat along with our meal free of charge. I'll probably be ordering from these Legends again.Note, I did order through JustEat. Food actually arrived twenty minutes earlier than expected, so that's just another bonus.

Fantastic kebab - the best I've had in Plymouth.We had a mixed Lamb Donner & Chicken Shish and it was to die for!The sauces and extras are well portioned and fresh - everything about the food was as close to perfect as I could expect from a kebab takeaway.

Partner ordered from what we thought was a company called "taste of sicily" when the food came it was actually from Legend kebab House. The food was nice, although they did mix up the toppings of the pizza and instead of giving the bottle of drink as the menu stated we was given a can as part of a meal deal which would feed at least 4-6 people so obviously one can isn't going to be enough.Very confused on why they're operating under two different names.
