Make at 140 is incredible. The shop is packed with stunning and unusual fabrics and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.The courses and workshops on offer are as diverse as the shop contents. They are run by professionals in their field and are great fun. Not only do I learn something new each time I attend, and have a stab at making an item of clothing, I also forget all the stress and worries going on in my life for a few hours!Oh, and the button selection is just as beautiful and diverse as the fabrics!

Just like to say a big thank you to lovely Renata for her patience over the last two Saturdays re Beginners Crochet from Lucy and Julie. Make at 140 is a gorgeous shop, amazing fabrics,patterns and haberdashery and Lizzie always has a welcoming warm smile to add to it, she is always so helpful and patient that you don't want to leave.

Amazing little shop which sells a whole host of buttons and materials. Coffee and food is also really good. Staff are all really friendly and helpful. The workshops they run are really good too.

Make is a charming little cafe/haberdashery. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and have excellent product knowledge. The products available are surprisingly wide ranging for a relatively small space and cater for a number of different crafts.They also do classes and courses, which I have not personally attended, but seem very well received.

Always a great place to drop in for a coffee and cake (the vegan chocolate and beetroot cake is just the best!). A fab selection of buttons, fabric and haberdashery supplies and an amazing array of craft workshops to choose from.

My daughter had her 9th birthday party at Make. All the party guests really enjoyed making their cushions and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. My daughter described the party as 'Awesome' and even her grumpy little brother proclaimed it to be 'actually not the worst day ever'. A great success all round!
