Master Chef in Plymouth

Phoned up for a Chinese for 3 children 1 poorly man on dialysis and myself and mum.Called to see where it was 2 hours later, and they told me it hasn't started cooking yet??? My children are waiting for there tea and ready to go to bed! The lady on the phone was apologetic but not sincerely, sounded like she just needed me to get off the phone, I told her I wouldn't be using her service again and she told me that's absolutely fine!? Please if you want to eat and good customer service avoid this absolute terrible place, my poor children and partner are sat here hungry. If you want a good Chinese, quick and friendly please go to YUNGS!

Chips were fabulous but the pancake roll was cold and not freshly cooked. Shame, because food from here is usually superb.

My goto Chinese of Plymouth.Whilst this place isn't what I'd call cheap, you deffo get what you pay for and that's quality.Gals are ace on the front serving, always poilet and friendly. Food is always hot and fresh and their Satay sauce is amaze! Highly recommend.

The food was nice but it took 2 hours to get a delivery and I had to call back to see where the food was and the girl went to check she kept me on hold for 10 minutes. Very poor service and although the food was nice it wasn't worth the wait

Very poor quality food and service.We have always used this restaurant and the food used to be of high quality and service was good; however, in recent months both the quality of the food and service have deteriorated.Do not use unless you are happy to wait for 2 hours for poor quality food and missed items. Although they replaced forgotten items it took so long the rest of the food was ruined.

Recieved our meal (frostily). So here is the review I said to the delivery man I would happily post. On first sight I thought "Yes, the food is going to be totally fantastic!!", but on my first bite of fried rice it tasted abit off and smelt just as funny. I had this with special satay, it was averege but the chicken was under-cooked, so turned out was the beef. Left quite abit.Now to my partners special chow-mein. At first sight fantastic again, but when tipped out he needed a telescope to find the noodles. It was all just sitting in a barbacue sauce watery thin stuff. All of the meat was jammed together which may have been ok until you got to taste it. Again the chicken was under-cooked. Was discusting and again tastes completely off. We were really looking forward to this as we are unemployed and like everybody else have bills to pay. The only things that were ok were the barbecue spare ribs, even if the sauce has set completely and now comes out in one piece. We recieved it early and like I said to the delivery driver I would write a review. Bet the driver wishes he had not moaned at me now.

Ordered at 6.35pm to be told 1.5hr delivery it’s now 9.15pm still nothing. We rang 8.30pm and told 20 minutes tops ....Hate being lied to, either tell the truth or don’t accept the order if cannot accommodate.When we called at 9.15pm to cancel they said it’s bagged up ready !! No thank you, already lost our trust and regularly weekly custom

Quite simply the best salt and pepper chips and chicken I have ever had in my life! And even got a free tub of curry! Friendly staff and will 100% be getting my chinese from here every time I order one.

Such a shame - the food is normally great, recently the service and timescales have slipped. If they told me I would be waiting 2.5 hours for food I would have gone elsewhere. When you call to find out what’s going on and the member of staff cuts you short with no apology and hangs up... that’s not good enough for me. Sorry, but I don’t have time to deal with this moving forward and will order elsewhere

Ordered £70+ food. Had to tell the delivery driver to come back three times. Missed all our food out.Called master chef, said part of the order is missing she said we didn’t put it through!! Although I asked for it! She then tried charging me for her mistake.
