Friendly service and delightful food. But be aware that this is a premium experience. Got of us ran up a £200 bill.Food comes out when ready, rather than all at once, so excellent for sharing as a group.

We had dinner here this evening and it was a lovely experience. The place was busy which was great to see and we sat at the sushi bar.There was a good range of options on the menu and portions were good. The food was well presented and flavoursome and prices were decent. Some nice cocktail and drink options too. A lovely evening

Very good Japrnese food, lovely restaurant, great choice but somewhat overpriced really. Fillet steak with wasabi, served with vegetables and boiled rice was £29. Steak was served sliced and was lovely but no real taste of any wasabi so had to ask for some separately. Steak just served on a small bed of lettuce/cabbage? but was expecting and hoping for some other vegetable accompaniment for that price! The teriyaki salmon was good too but all the flavour/marinade was on the skin so once that was removed, could have done with more teriyaki taste. Was my birthday when we visited and wish we'd said so beforehand as two other tables had people with birthdays too that day and each was presented with a cake/dessert with candles! Disappointed I missed out but good to know if you're celebrating a birthday - tell them when booking. Overall very nice but need a hefty wallet!

Have been here a few times, the food is fresh and delicious. Dispit calling a little last min on a Saturday with no tables left I still got seated at the sushi bar, which I was more than happy about. Great service left feeling full and happy.I had to start a Tataki mixed (salmon, tuna + sea bass ponzu) and Makimono samurai maki (sea bass and softshell crab roll). For my main I had the Kano special - Crispy duck in miso soy sauce with teppan veg and sticky rice. With a couple of cocktails called plumb and rose they were perfect to wash everything down.

Lovely food & good service. Food was very fluid in arriving. The only draw back being the acoustics of the restaurant, meaning a large group being very loud is deafening. So not necessarily a calm dining experience. But overall the food was so good, all of our table would make a return visit.

Excellent food and good serviceIt was a last minute decision to go out for food and went here based on a friends recommendation. They were fully booked but let us sit in the bar area and still have food and it tasted greatDefinitely recommend to anyone looking for a classy restaurant 👌

Kuku is a great place to try sushi. A warning in advance, the sushi portions are very small, however this is expected for a sushi restaurant. Prices are very expensive. Certain members of staff were not great, however the female member who attended us was very helpful, but did not catch her name. However I highly recommend the food here, it is delicious. We will be coming again :)
