Wow. Amazing food. I changed my mind multiple times when I saw other peoples food being brought out, it all smelt lovely! Turns out every dish we ordered was amazing. Really clean too. Great place for a group meal

The food was great, the mens toilet needs some attention however. But would definitely recommend

·

Lovely roast but not the best ales unfortunately but hey not everyone drinks ale so give it a go

·

The chili con carne was about as inspirational as a lullaby sung by Rolf Harris. The ambience not much better.

·

Great bar, televisions screening football, rugby and other sporting events, also serves good food. Second level has a restaurant area and seating outside.

·

What a lovely pub, we really enjoyed our visit.

Love this pub, always friendly staff, feel comfortable walking in there on my own. Changed hands in last couple of years, food is good too.

·

Very good lunch menu, 2 for £15. Beer was good too. Bar staff friendly. Would definitely recommend

Great pub, friendly and welcoming. Spent a good bit of time here when visiting Plymouth. Sky sports, bt sports and a pool table, will visit again next time.

The famous 29 Commando bar. Whenever I am in Plymouth I always garb a pint in here. They have decent beer on tap and selection of hard liquors. There is a pool table, slot machine and they always have the sport playing. Can get extremely busy at popular times. There are loads of military photos dotted around the bar and pictures of those who have fallen. I haven't tried the food yet.
