New Jade Garden in Plymouth

Great Chinese food. Took 10mins from phone call to pick up, friendly staff and great service! Would definitely recommend, one of the best places to order within Plymouth.

Didn't feel great after eating it and the crispy wonton were a bit dismal

The food had peppers in it after we asked for no peppers, we had also asked for some chopsticks, quick to deliver but not quick enough to read the comments on the order page from just eat. Won't be using them again sorry.

Amazing amazing amazing! Plymouth's "best, full stop" ordering from this Chinese takeaway for over 5yrs but recently moved to a different address that wasn't covered, so we tried various other takeaways and nothing beats this place! We missed the food so we phoned them and they said because we're good customers would deliver. Very accommodating, friendly and absolutely beautiful food!

SHOCKINGOrder £50 worth of food, supposedly out for delivery at 8:30. After waiting an hour we phone the restaurant only to be told the driver has returned and delivered the food. Checked the order and definitely has our address. So someone else gets a free dinner and we go hungry and out of pocket. Restaurant did nothing to help or rectify the issue, no refund or food. Do not use this place.

My sister ordered a delivery via JustEat, a small order with only a few different dishes. Not too difficult to get it together, given that it was 5 minutes down the road from us. 2 hours later, still no update on the food. 8:30 was the predicted delivery, and it came and went. 8:50 updated delivery time, and it came and went. At 20 past 9 she called and asked for her money back, and the woman on the phone was rude and kept saying "2 minutes ... its gone now, I can't give you your money back ... 2 minutes". The driver arrived and she had been rude to him too, telling him to hurry up. The restaurant made no attempt to apologise or offer any compensation or free food to make up for it, and the food arrived cold. We will not be using this restaurant again.

Ordered a take away to be delivered. Said it would be 45 mins. ( due for 8.25pm) at 8.40pm, we called them as still not here. They were only just preparing it, apparently. Took another 40 minutes to get to us...... the food was nice but purely because we waited so long, we will be going elsewhere in the future.

We order from new jade garden and they accepted the delivery time of 19:20, which considering that was nearly 2 hours from the time we ordered it we were already waiting a long time. Well, 19:20 came and went, after 20 minutes we tried calling the restaurant, no answer, kept calling and calling and the user was busy. We contacted just eat on their chat and they could get through to them either. 45 minutes waiting and still not able to contact them on the phone we decided to go to the restaurant, they were still cooking our food!!! I'm not sure how long spring rolls and beef curry take but that is truly ridiculous. My partner was told he could wait or go home and it would come out for delivery when it was ready. We chose to wait as we thought that would faster. Over an hour after the allotted delivery time he was given our food, which by that point half of it was so cold we had to microwave it before we ate it!! I complained to just eat, who asked them for a refund on our behalf to which they refused to give us compensation as they had refunded the £1.50 for the delivery (we collected the food ourselves so hardly a big gesture) and they wouldn't give us any further compensation. I will not be ordering from them again, with so many Chinese restaurants in Plymouth there are far better ones than this.
