Papa Raj in Plymouth

Paid almost £35 for a small amount of food - very dry hardly any sauce and blend in taste. No one enjoyed it, waste of money wouldn’t order again. Do not recommend.

Above average food, but the wait is extremely long. Even if they give you a pick up time, expect to be waiting an 40mins on top of that.

The food was very nice, but I had to wait 45 minutes from the time I was told it would be ready before it was produced. Not happy!

A great Indian takeaway. Well worth the visit.

Used this Indian for the first time the rice and curry were nice but the chips and nann bread were disgusting couldn't eat it chips were luke warm soggy just warmed in a microwave all wet yuk and the bread well that just crumbled as soon as you tried to break it awful very disappointed

We come down to see family in Plymouth and it has become a little tradition to have a papa raj. This is because the food is fantastic and we have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend this place. Can not wait for a next trip to come round.

This is the third time I have had to wait for over 30 mins to collect the food. Ordered on their own app which give you a time to collect. Every time without fail they leave you standing. Food is good but will not be using again

Having read online reviews of very slow delivery, we opted to order and collect. We gave an hour's notice for a £25 order.Upon attempting to collect we were told it would be a few minutes wait. We actually received our food 35 minutes later, after asking, and having had several obvious regulars served and gone in the time we were there. The staff did make repeat comments that it was very busy.Restaurant and waiting area were clean and well turned out. Staff seemed friendly.Food wise, starter, rice and naan were good. Spiced papadoms were poor, somehow overdone and soft at the same time. Main curry dish was OK. Didn't taste as we expected - very tomato-y, and the chicken was quite dry.We are new to the area, and will be trying another option next time :(

The food was lovely but unfortunately, there was an issue with part of my order being missing. I rang to tell them about it and the response was fabulous and although I had collected the food, they offered to deliver the missing food out to me and it was with us within about 15 mins!! Great customer service and a huge improvement on past experiences where I have been shouted at hahaha!!!
