Pizza Hut in Plymouth

Pizza is expensive. Service is all but non existent due to having to order everything yourself through a QR code on the table. The service... If you can call it that, is to bring the pizza to the table. On the point of table it was to small to accommodate the order but even though there were lots of free larger tables available they did not offer to move us and just balance the food over the edge.They only take Card payment so young teenagers cannot go in for a pizza alone as they will be unable to pay. On the hole I can clearly see why it was quiet on a Friday night. I for one will not be going to a pizza hut again any time soon.

I have never been so embarrassed at this place. I paid for my meal on the app which included a tip at the start of our meal. The staff didn’t bring us glasses then when they did we were 1 short and they forgot about our dishes for ice cream. Then when we left and got into our car and started driving out a member of staff ran out and jumped in front of my car accusing us of not paying. I had to log into my bank account to proof I had paid , No proper apology what a sham. I will never go to this place ever again.

Had the most wonderful customer service last night when I picked up my order. The staff member was very attentive and noticed we'd been waiting a while for our order. All in all, for the slightly long wait and then they put onions on a pizza they shouldn't have, we received for free: two boxes of salad from the bar (we could fill ourselves), another pizza without onion and we took the oniony pizza too, and two desserts with ice cream! We were amazed and so grateful - will definitely be returning. I've always loved this pizza hut restaurant and I'm very happy to see the standards in customer service and food are still phenomenal.

PLYMOUTH BARBICAN Tuesday 24th MayWent for an early evening meal with family friends as it was their daughters 9th Birthday treat. Our waiter Chris was absolutely brilliant. He looked after us with care and attention and kept an eye on us incase we needed any additional food or drinks.Being early evening there were a lot of children in the restaurant but all the staff took it in their stride and were always helpfull. Our Pizzas were whipped from the oven to our table quickly & were nice and hot, really lovely pizza! But again, big thank you to Chris for making it such a pleasant evening.

Staff really attentive, had a lunchtime buffet, food was piping hot and replenished really well. With being half term we should have booked but were shown to a table very quickly regardless.

Over 75% tables available when we just walked in, however; we were told it was booking only. We tried to book a table and were informed they were short staffed, we advised we were fine to wait bit were told they could not take bookings on the same day????? No wonder pizza hut has had to close 2 other restaurants in plymouth with service like this. Literatly walked away with 2 crying kids. Worst service ever! (And also hate that we have to give 1 star in order to review)

My favourite pizza place! Clean and tidy, easy to book online. When busy can be a little slow to greet you but often do acknowledge your entrance. Ordered a takeaway this time. Food was ready quickly with quality checks before handing out.

Visited for lunch on a daddy-daughter day out. Can't beat a buffet and a brew. Was served by Rebecca and she couldn't have been better. Incredibly attentive to my little girl and a lovely host from entrance to exit, I value service above all else and she was spot on so give her some recognition or a raise!

Last time me and my partner came in here, it was great, but ordering on Deliveroo definitely wasn't. Honestly the worst pizza I've ever eaten, so chewy and like eating cardboard, a cheap frozen pizza would've put it to shame. My partner's pizza was supposed to come with a BBQ base but instead there was no sauce on it at all, no garlic crust on either pizza which was the whole reason we opted for stuffed crust, also some undercooked chips for good measure. For £30 it's just shocking, and to top it all off, it arrived cold. Won't ever be ordering from here again.

Haven't been to pizza hut for years. I was really impressed with the staff, both the chefs and waitresses. Really friendly and helpful. The food was great. Really good quality and the salads were as lovely as I remembered. The ice cream bar is fun. We're Def coming back.
