Plympton Spice in Plymouth

Let’s start with the service. That was fine, but the establishment was grubby. The walls were cracked and the sanitation of the tables weren’t satisfactory. The Entrée and starter were fine and maybe even good. But it all went downhill when I received my Chicken Tikka Masala on the plate. The rice were stale and the sauce was pink ans had a higher artificial flavour than Coca Cola. The meat was ok and I liked the naan bread. I also had to wait over 45 minutes for the artificial coloured food to be delivered.My opinion: you could come here, but don’t eat the chicken tikka masala and avoid looking at the walls.Sincerely, Sandy Garcia

Food was delicious and decent sized portions.The best feature of this restaurant though is that you can bring your own booze and they don’t charge corkage.

Last night we tried Plympton Spice , for a takeaway . We phoned direct to request a meal not on website and the person we spoke to was friendly and helpful . Food arrived sooner than the estimated time frame -and was still very warm .The food was delicious full of flavour and spice , my vegetable chilli masala was hot but not ridiculously so and I could still taste the other flavours . My partner said his chicken dhansak was gorgeous.. High praise indeed !! We have been missing our old Indian restaurant from where we lived before but think we have found a really good replacement . We look forward to eating in the restaurant !
