Not a great meal! The fish had very little fish in it and it was mostly battery. The fish that was present was very chewy. The staff were lovely but we won't be going back.

Last night my granddaughter and myself went to the Plymstock inn. The staff were very nice and polite. We placed our order and waited over an hour for the food and it wasn’t packed. I ordered the 3 cheese pie with chips and baked beans, my pie was very warm,My granddaughter ordered a ceasar salad with no chicken as she is a veggie, well the salad was like a bag of lettuce leaves with croutons and a dressing… ok but to be charged the full amount when she had no chicken a bit steep. Then when we left at 20.00 after ordering at 18.30 returning to the car was so dangerous as there is no light what so ever I tripped over a small sloping wallBecause I simply could not see it. Overall not a pleasant experience at all, would I return NO I will go back to the Morley Arms where it has been excellent every single time, why did I change well I thought it will be cheaper, yes it was by a few quid but certainly not worth it.

Popped in on my birthday as buying a house very locally. Service second to none food to die for. The Ox cheek my wife had was awesome, and my festive burger was fab. Will be our local when we move in. See you again very soon.

Always a lovely place to eat and drink. Nice menu and caters for " gluten free " food. As we take an elderly lady friend for a meal there and they're always very accommodating. I recommend it.

Popped in for food and had a roast. It was amazing. Both me and other half said it was one of the best pub roasts we had ever had. Meat was great quality, cauliflower cheese amazing. Would definitely go back and recommend..

Terrible place, staff are fantastic, owners useless and don't want to get involved and make this pub a great pub. , the owners don't care about the customers as I was told by a local they are not interested in what customer think. Place needs sorted, it's nice inside but lacks atmosphere. Shame the owners aren't interested in the pubs future.

I have just had lunch with my wife and boys at the Plymstock Inn. The food was excellent and the staff first class, would highly recommend it👍

I'm simply in awe over some of the negative comments and reviews that have been given previously. I attended today with my wife, son and grandmother, could the experience be better? No. The food was out of this world, all of us left feeling totally satisfied.I haven't been to the Plymstock for a good five or so years, admittedly, I'm impressed with the service, presentation and mostly the food. In addition to that, in the beer garden there is a children's play area. The staff were so polite, friendly and helpful. They also gave us plenty of choice. We will be returning to support this fantastic local business.Outstanding. See you soon!
