Rockfish in Plymouth

Nice lunch, expensive fish and chips. Staff helpful and attentive. Food very nice. Recommend the Skippers brew and I'm not really a tea drinker. Nice view. Pleasant atmosphere. probably go back.

Rockfish - The Barbican PlymouthDropped in to this restaurant without a reservation, Martin quickly found us a table professionally without fuss. We were told our servers name Chris and he quickly took our drinks order before expertly explaining how the menu worked and what was on offer.We decided o smoked haddock, which was came with a lovely jedgere butter sauce. The food was terrific and Ithe chefs should be proud of what they've served. I'd recommend a visit.The service from Martin and Chris was excellent and the owners of Rockfish should be proud of their staff, their training methods as service counts for so much in these challenging times.Well done and thanks to all. Delicious Fish Friday plaice and chips for £3! Great food, friendly, efficient service and stunning location. As it said on the box "Best eaten with a view of the sea". Thanks Rockfish, your gesture for the locals is very much appreciated.

Where to start... 5* for wheelchair accessibility, 5* for quality of food, 5* for customer service and friendliness of staff... Sticky toffee pudding takes some beating. Nothing was too much trouble. A million stars from our 6yr old. She knows what she's talking about. Best seafood restaurant by far!!!

Wow The BEST FISH and chips I've ever had, Andy the waiter was very friendly and informative. The whitebait was amazing and super fresh. The Batter was really light and crispy and not greasy. Well worth the price and we can't wait to come back again.

We used Plymouth as a bookend destination when visiting family in Cornwall and visited Rockfish 3 times in 7 days, it’s that good! Fresh sea food treated brilliantly by the chefs and staff, washed down with good drinks, excellent service and fair prices. Can’t fault it!

Superb lunch at Rock Fish Plymouth. The crab was incredible, fresh and delicious - would recommend this plate. With perfect weather yesterday we sat on the sun deck and watched the world go by with Salcombe brewed drinks on tap. The staff couldn’t do enough for us despite it being a busy lunchtime, thanks RockFish for a perfect lunch date 👌🏻

Two words... Fresh and tasty... The food was divine, fresh as can be at a reasonable price. The team was polite and helpful. There was live music...wow. It made for a great experience.

An excellent restaurant to visit if you love your seafood. We were served by Anastasia who very enthusiastically explained how the menu worked, writing it down on the tablecloth as she went. Her knowledge and description of the food was excellent.Our starter of a dressed crab arrived very quickly, along with 3 plates for us to share. It was very tasty, including the fresh bread served with it.For mains we had mackerel, silver mullet and battered ling. All three dishes came with salad or unlimited chips. Anastasia constantly checked on us and was very attentive. Will definitely visit again if we return to the area.

Lucy was one of the best waitress we have had in a long time !!! Definitely a 5/5 service wise! It was our first time in plymouth and we wanted to enjoy a good fish. Rockfish had a good variety of fish available and everything was tasty ! The only down side was the calamari but otherwise everything was perfect ! Thank you Lucy !
