I’ve been waiting to come here for months but never had the chance or it’s been too busy to walk in. Definitely book in advance, the roast is popular and the food was good, I recommend the fish gumbo.

went just for a drink and absolutely fell in love with the place! so adorable. it was completely booked for dinners on a wednesday night very impressive! we immediately booked a dinner after seeing everyone look so pleased with their meals (normal pub food, but has specials that vary)

Good food, the Devon rock larger was one of the best largers I've ever had. Good steak and chips. My mate had fish and chips and no complaints. Off the beaten track but worth looking for.

Amazing little pub / restaurant hidden away between the marina and battery.Good selection of beers and a quite phenomenal selections of whisky and spirits.Lovely menu to choose from including menu for your dogs, curated by their resident k9 guru.I gad the excellent king Prawns and roe on scallops, followed by the sea food gumbo, which was equally amazing.

The Fisherman's has got to be my fave pub in Plymouth! The cosiest spot, dog friendly, great staff and the food is brilliant. Would highly recommend their Sunday roast!

Lovely, dog friendly, pub tucked out of the way. The staff on my two visits have been excellent, very attentive without being annoying or pretentious. The food is good and well presented, with a decent menu that is slightly biased towards local seafood. Also with dog options, from biscuits and treats through to full meals. There is an extensive gin menu, with some very niche and unique flavours through to quality staples. Well worth a visit for that alone if you're interested in gin.A great atmosphere and well run.

Had my first meal at the pub with my partner. It was a lovely friendly pub with the staff pleasant and willing to help with anything you require. I had a lovely meal of chicken stack and sticky toffee pudding both of which was lovely to have. Sticky toffee pudding was to die for and you got plenty of it. Was a lovely evening. Drinks were lovely too and the price of the meal for two of us was really reasonable. The atmosphere was lovely and very Christmasy. The staff had to deal with a large group of loud men and they handled the situation very well. Would highly recommend.

Had a delicious Sunday roast at this hidden little gem. Friendly staff, good service and super dog friendly. Skye even got her own doggy roast in a bowl. Will definitely be back to this proper old school pub 👍

I am so glad that we found this pub. My husband and I were looking for a place to have good pub food on our vacation and this place was amazing. We were greeted when we entered and they even managed to find us a seat even though they were booked. Our waitress was fantastic. She helped us pick out drinks giving great advice on local beverages. The seating was comfortable and quaint. The food was divinely delicious. There was no skimping and portion size here. There were so many options to choose from on the menu it was almost hard to make a decision. Not to mention the nightly specials. Even after all the food we ate we still managed to find room for one of their dessert. It was the perfect way to cap off an evening. If we come back to Plymouth again we're definitely going back to the Fishermans Arms.
