Great place to eat and socialise. Staff are friendly but short of staff I would say. Never enough staff behind the bar. There should be a queue for food but everyone is in the same queue.I feel it could do with a deep clean especially around the ladies toilets .quiet a bit of dust around skirting boards and under tables . Lots of memorabilia around the place which is great to look at but again I need of a regular clean. Lovely food.

We had a great time here on bank holiday Monday. Our food was lovely and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only two downsides were the slow-ish service despite the place not being packed, and that they had run out of my favourite dessert! (The 'Death by Dairy Milk' is amazing just FYI.

We have come back 3 times in 6 weeks amazing service food very reasonable prices for top quality products. Made to feel like we are the only customers in the premises. Want to give a server called jasper a shout out, went above and beyond to accommodate us. Amazing, this guy will go far in any customer service industry. We will be back.

Absolutely lovely mother's Day afternoon tea. Polite staff and quirky venue. Could not fault the service or food, and the Tea was incredible

This was our first visit here and we were very impressed. The decor and memorabilia were a fantastic positive talking point for us.The manager and the staff were all very friendly, knowledgable and professional and the food we had was fantastic, plentiful, tasty and very reasonably priced. I have no hesitation in recommending The Hyde Park and we will definitely return on our next visit to Plymouth

Went for a lunch with 7 friends. The service was friendly. It was a shame that, although there are lots to choose from for a lunch much of it wasn't there due to delivery options. However was did come was lovely. I ordered a bacon, chicken and brie flatbread and it was stunning. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Lunch did take a while but they wanted us to have it all together as a lunch which I understood. Really enjoyed it.

Best boozer in Plymouth by a mile. How could this place not put a smile on your face? Like stepping onto a film set in a time where pubs were non-generic drinking chains. This place is well cared for by people who understand what a unique place they're for on their hands. I want to move nearby just so it's my local.

What a fabulous find, a busy pub that still felt comfortable, friendly staff, nicely kept ales and a massive selection of gins amongst other spirits. The entire pub is like a museum, almost every inch of wall space holds memorabilia of automotive and brewing industries, amongst other random historical items. There's a great food menu on offer, serving until late and the quality is there too......and to top it all off, they're dog friendly. Not much outdoor seating, but as they are on a traffic island that's a given, as is no attached parking but there is plenty close by so no problem there. Will happily recommend and visit again. 🍻

My partner and I stumbled across this place walking through Plymouth, it's just so cool, lovely staff and atmosphere, fast service, gorgeous premises outside and inside, and the best ladies bathroom with an immense amount of cosmetics when you need a refresh, food and wine were awesome, I'm just so impressed ! If I could've stayed there all day I would have, if i lived in Plymouth I'd probably be there every day. We'll be back 😃
