The Jack Rabbit Vintage Inn in Plymouth

My son and I had lunch here yesterday 2/4 and the food was fantastic! It was our first time here and we will definitely be back with the whole family. Our waiter was Richard and he was really friendly and very efficient! The pub/restaurant was very clean together with your bathroom facilities! Top marks guys! 👌

Valentines Day Meal was excellent!! The value for money was unbeatable!! £23.95 for 3 courses, 3 courses of beautiful food. The food, the service and the atmosphere was just perfect. We don't eat here often enough. I decided to book here as it was where my partner and I had our 1st date. We were not disappointed. Compliments to the chef on valentines day, and thank you to the staff that looked after us. ❤️

Saw the pub by chance as we were driving past. Thought we'd give it a go for lunch. Was really impressed, the inside was well laid out with ambiance. The waitress was very good, great sense of humour and very attentive. Food was very nicely presented and tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed our inpromptu lunch stop.

Food took a while to arrive and when it did,we all had issues. Steak was undercooked,fish was over cooked and burger was burnt so much it was more like a biscuit. We sent the burger back and waited for a replacement. Everyone had finished eating by the time the replacement arrived and it was the wrong one. I wasn't prepared to wait again and at this point lost my appetite. This was taken off the bill but considering I left without a meal I feel more should have been done to rectify this mistake. But the service was overall poor and not attentive at all. One server looked confused at the simple request of ketchup.We had planned to stay for desserts and more drinks but after the mistakes decided to pay up and leave.Will not be returning.

A little disappointing. Food took ages to come. The burger was well overdone so asked for another to be cooked properly. When the replacement turned up it was a different version of the burger ordered. Most off putting and not eaten. Chips were ok but not a meal. Obviously didn't pay for burger meal but no other compensation offered.Won't be back.

We heard good things about this place but when we entered the place - we was noticed by the staff few minutes later as they was chatting way. Then we was told to sit down as they will come and take the order. We was sitting on the table good 10min waiting for someone to take the order. We tried to get someone attention but they just pretend not to notice but the lady who served us later was very good at her job and we'll mannered. Over all the food was okay which is why 3*.

My husband and I love this place and were so happy to be able to come back once Bojo ungrounded us!The food is always spot on and the staff are doing such an incredible job - especially given the extra strain they have all been under.A special thank you to Thom - always the highlight of our visit with his charm, cheeky banter and his effortless ways of going above and beyond.Amazing job guys. Fantastic lunch!Had a scrummy lunch today at the jack, all the girls enjoyed their light lunches, the wine was also fab!! Thom our server was fantastic, very attentive and professional. Always making sure our drinks didn’t run out! Will definitely be returning soon!

I was really impressed with the festive menu at The Jack Rabbit. There are a variety of dishes to choose from and overall, the festive menu is lovely. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out, inviting and warm. The staff are friendly, approachable, accommodating, knowledgable of the products available and they make you feel like part of the family. I had a lovely time at the Jack Rabbit and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely meal out.

Just had an evening meal here during a two day work related run in Devon and Cornwall. The pub itself is well presented and with a team who work well together. The menu is good with a wide variety of food catering for every taste. We were served by Laura who was very pleasant and attentive. She was cheery and informative and helpful and genuinely a nice person. I recommend this Pub to anyone wanting a great evening out.
