Poor portioned vegetarian breakfast with not much variation, lovely service and the food came out quick

Man tried to tell me I can't watch my phone in there. I asked to read it in policy but he couldn't back it up. Of course not. Can't imagine him telling everyone to be quiet after they had a few pints on a match day. I was drinking coffee in the corner and my phone wasn't even loud.

Good service and reasonably priced. First time back at this pub since before Covid. Menu slightly smaller (no lamb shank for example) and the fish and chips had shrunk. Nice meal before going out later

A bit grotty in places so all you are getting is the standard Spoons, experience. Tends to go big on the meals so you can’t watch the football which often has no sound. Spoons is Spoons so it is more about the individual pub. Thus has good space a pleasant crowd and good service but little atmosphere outside of that. Toilets upstairs, two flights.

Went in with my partner and daughter on a Friday daytime for a quick dinner. This is definitely not the most clean of places. The glasses they served our drinks in were cloudy and all had black flecks in. The tables were sticky and it just felt like a dirty place to be honest. The banana that they willing gave my daughter with her kids me was black. However, the bar staff were very apologetic and polite.

Positives = Friendly staff good choice of beer and good prices. Usually can get a table even at busy times. Easy to order at bar or on app. Food is fine if your just out with friends and want a quick meal.Good location. Lots of useful nearby shops.Negatives = no parking at site. But there is a local council car park less than 5 mins walk that’s free for 3hours.

The worst weatherspoons I’ve been in. Sticky tables, food everywhere, looking the worse for wear. Too crowded, and a rough crowd at that. Meal was clearly pre frozen. Plympton weatherspoons far nicer. Unless you want a quick cheap meal before a night out, avoid.

·

Ok typical weatherspoons. Cheap beer.Qestionable customers. Not all but more than in my local spoons.First visit in 3 years. So maybe gone down hill a bit

Went there a couple of days ago with some friends. Definitely a very nice time having drinks and some food. The food was very good and well worth it. The staff was perfect and helped us with anything. Customer service was nice and quick and definitely worth going if you want a meal and a drink

Typical Wetherspoons could be anywhere, Jail Ale was good, ham egg and chips cheap n cheerful. Toilets clean, quick service. Usual mixture of families, drunks, chavs and everyone else. The pub nearby called the Fortiscue so much better.
